"Am I the only one who thinks..."

Am I the only one who realizes Yahtzee is not a legitimate review source? I get annoyed when people take him seriously and use his opinions to back up their own (usually when trying to put down a game everybody else likes). If he acually found a game good, you'd never know. Yahtzee is a humorist who pretends to hate everything because that's his gimmick! He's not a real reviewer!

All of the popular ones are like this, though. Nostalgia Critic, AVGN, Linkara, Spoony. All of them are humorists who exaggerate flaws for effect just as Yahtzee does, none of them are real reviewers. And yet people take them seriously and happily accept their opinions as their own.

Am I the only person who comes up with good video game ideas but then sadly forgets about them because he doesn't have artistic skills and will probably never see his game come to life?

Am I the only one who thinks that My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic isn't that good?

To be fair, I will admit that the voice acting is good, as is the animation. But I usually find it dull more than anything, and NO its not because I'm not the target audience for the show.

I'm sure you're not. I can't really say anything bad about the show except that I think it's overrated.

Am I the only one who thinks "Regular Show" is the best new show to air on Cartoon NetworkAdult Swim in the past two years?

Regular Show has been on Adult Swim before?

I believe he means Regular Show is the best show to air on either Cartoon Network or Adult Swim in the past two years.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Memorial Day marathons this year on Nick and Nicktoons sucked?

Yeah, I forgot to put the / symbol between the two words.

Even though it wasn't the best showing, am I the only one who thinks this year's Microsoft presentation at E3 was better than last year's? Dare I ask if I'm the only one who thought it was a better presentation than Sony this year?

Am I the only one who thinks that it would be extremely hard to be pick pocketed? I just can't see someone digging into my pants pocket or jacket pocket without me feeling it. The instant they touch me I'm going to know something is wrong and immediately react.

No, you're not. In fact, I just came up with a cool video game idea that I can't translate on pen and paper due to lack of artistic skill (tryin' to work on that, though).

Sometimes I end up re-creating it into a E-rated game so the graphics can look more "kid-friendly". I wonder if they hire writers who just write.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that bill from curious geogre calls geogre a city kid.

it's pretty hard to pick pocket without getting caught.

Am I the only one who thinks that Blip.tv is one of the worst video players on the internet? It's slow as hell (I started loading a video over half an hour ago, and it's only 3 1/2 minutes in as I type this!), the ads freeze up or move to a crawl, and sometimes the video just gives up loading partway through, forcing me to reload the entire video from scratch (often, it doesn't want to skip ahead to the part I got stuck at; oh, by the way, the video I was loading just did exactly that).

And yet EVERYONE USES IT. Cinemassacre, That Guy with the Glasses, Team Four Star, several Let's Play commentators, etc. Luckily, some of them eventually put their stuff up on Youtube, but some don't. This is the exact reason why I'm so far behind on the Nostalga Critic: I have to go through third-party sources just to view more than five minutes of any episode!

I shouldn't say I'm the "only one" who thinks this, I know at least a few other people have these same problems with Blip.tv (so the blame doesn't lie solely on my internet connection), but I'm surprised by how many people aren't bothered by any of this.

No, it's complete garbage. I have computers it won't even work on.

Blip.tv is literally the slowest to load stream site I've ever come across. I've left 10-minute videos loading for half hour and they don't make it halfway through. It's definitely not my connection, as Youtube and other sites load just fine.

I'm going to have to agree about Blip. Slow as molasses. The waiting time before I can actually watch a TGWTG video is usualy longer than the video itself, and I've had it give up loading before too. Why exactly do they still use it? What's it's advantage over other sites.

I've actually had the same problem with Viddler and Dailymotion, honestly.

Am I the only one who can't understand why people complain about not having their favorite shows air on television, and won't settle with just watching them on DVD or legally streamed elsewhere?

No, I think they should be more settled watching them on DVDs

Am I the only one who hates going to the beach?

meh, i prefer the pool over the beach if i had the choice. i don't like discovering sand in unmentionable places and how hard it is to get out of curly hair. But i don't mind one trip or two in a summer just to spend time on the boardwalk or take a walk a long the shore.

Am I the only one who doesn't see the point in texting? To me, it's just plain stupid. You get addicted to it and it absorbs your whole life. I've never tried it and I don't think I ever will.

Am I the only one who cringes every time I see the word/phrase/whatever it is 'LOL'? It annoys me to death. How long does it take to type a few words? Really?

Even though this post is from last year, I thought I'd answer to it since I recently got a new phone that has a keyboard for texting. My previous phone had texting abilities but no keyboard, and some of my friends prefer texting most of the time. One of them actually claims she's too busy to check voice mail. So I figured I should just get a new phone with a keyboard. Texting has proven to be helpful in some instances, so even though I have a phone that makes it easier and faster, I'm hoping I don't get too absorbed with texting. I still prefer to make calls.

I'm not too big on "LOL" anymore. As someone who has a Facebook account, I've kind of gotten tired of seeing it at the end of pretty much every thing someone posts. It just makes them look like they'll laugh about any little thing. Now the two people I chat with the most, instead of saying "LOL", they go "*laughs*", and I actually like that better. They also don't just randomly laugh either, like they're stoned or something.

Am I the only one who hates going to the beach?
I like the beach well enough but not so much the ocean. I'm perfectly content to sit on the beach and watch the water, but the salt water in your mouth and jellyfish and other nasty things? Pass. The last few times I've been to the beach were in March so it was too cold to swim anyway and that was well enough for me (college softball tournaments in Gulf Shores, Alabama). We stayed in beach-side condos so I was happy to sit on our deck and watch the water when we weren't playing.

Nope. I've only seen two episodes so far, and have been rolling with laughter. This show is fantastic.

Has anyone here ever taken a tour of the Cartoon Network Studios building in Burbank, CA before it closed? I really wish I could have :(
To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Nicktoons in the US has recently aired something that no one expected: an AI generated ad for an overpriced plush toy.
Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
