Today marks the 35th Year Anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise (as well as the 1st game, by extension). The humble beginnings of Sega's mascot was my introduction to video games.

Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of when the 3DS Remake of Ocarina of Time was released in North America. I'm curious to see what changes from this version of the game will be kept in the upcoming Switch 2 Remake, as well as what new changes will be made.
To think that it was 10 years ago on this day when Ronnie Anne Santiago made her "technical"/off-screen debut. It wouldn't be until August 4th of that year when she made her "formal"/on-screen debut.
Today marks the 10th Year Anniversary of The Loud House (if you go by the "formal" premiere, that is). It's quite surreal knowing that this Nickelodeon series managed to reach seasons in the double digits.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Black (1) & White (1) were released in North America. The Unova Games are my 3rd favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 10th Year Anniversary of when the HD Version of Twilight Princess was released in North America. I appreciated how the HD Version of the game included quality of life improvements such as making the Tears of Light Quests less tedious and adding the Ghost Lantern to help make completing the Poe Souls Quest easier.
Today marks the 10th Year Anniversary of Zootopia (1). The Disney Animated Canon's 55th Movie is also my favorite movie from the Disney Animated Canon's "Revival Age".
Happy 40th Year Anniversary to the Legend of Zelda Franchise. My first exposure to the franchise was through Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64.
Happy birthday to the late James Earl Jones on what would have been his 95th birthday. His performances as the voice of Darth Vader and Mufasa will always be some of my favorite performances. May he continue to rest in peace.
Today marks the 20th Year Anniversary of the "formal premiere" for the Original Series of Ben 10. If you go by the "sneak peek" airing, the Original Series' (and, by extension, the overall Ben 10 Franchise's) 20th Year Anniversary was December 27, 2025.
December 27th marked the 20th Year Anniversary of the Ben 10 Franchise (and the Original Series). While the Original Series is my favorite series of the franchise, I still feel that the sequels and the Reboot Series have their good points to them.
Happy birthday to the late Kevin Conroy on what would have been his 70th birthday. His performance as Batman was the 1st performance of the character I heard and his performance remains the definitive portrayal of the Dark Knight to me. May he continue to rest in peace.
Today marks the 30th Year Anniversary of Toy Story (1). Pixar's 1st movie was one of the first movies I saw in a movie theater.
Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was released in North America. Majora's Mask was the second game from the franchise I played and certainly fits with the Halloween theme.
Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Gold & Silver were released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 40th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (1985), if one were to count the "formal premiere" airing. If one were to go by the "sneak peek" airing, the anniversary would be January 23rd.

I'm one of those people that had always been a fan of Waluigi since his debut. I remain hopeful that he will have his chance to shine in a "main game"/"non spin-off" game some day in the future.
It's nice to finally have another 3D DK game alongside Donkey Kong 64 with Donkey Kong Bananza having its official release today. If King K. Rool manages to make an appearance in the game, then I'll be an even happier campier but I suppose I'll find out once I obtain a copy of the game.
I'm one of those people that's more familiar with Sonic's arch-enemy being called "Dr. Ivo Robotnik" rather than "Eggman".

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
