    I may possibly be attending a live gig tomorrow (Wednesday) night. I've seen Mike Doughty (formerly of Soul Coughing) live 4 times since 2010 in various-sized venues, and tomorrow will hopefully be #5. If I go, I will review it afterwards.

    As an avid PBS Kids viewer, I really appreciate that their video app is free to use. I am not able to watch the 24/7 network all the time, so the app is a huge lifesaver.

    Well, they did change the Chokey Chicken restaurant to Chewy Chicken, so I bet a Nick exec caught on to that. I wonder what the conservation for that must've been like? "Hey, wait a minute, that's a masturbation reference, isn't it? You gotta change that!".

    Yeah, the Chokey Chicken restaurant name was changed...in the show's 4th and last season. It took Nick's censors 3 season to figure out what that name was referencing.

    Fun fact about that: I have a friend who took a cartooning class from Joe Murray, and according to him, the restaurant was originally supposed to be called something else, but then Nickelodeon told him that the name he wanted to use was already taken and asked him if he had any other ideas. Apparently he gave "Chokey Chicken" as a joke suggestion, not thinking they'd actually let him use it.

    I once read about where the rumor that Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart had a incestuous lesbian relationship came from, and it disgusted me. In short: Record exec trying to drum up publicity.

    The 1970s music industry is just a minefield of sleaze.

    I teased this a day ago and I've decided to do it now. Jun from Rosie's Rules is now my profile pic. I just really love seeing characters in kids media that aren't stereotypical for their genders. She and Harper in Alma's Way both make me very happy!

    I've decided to go very old-school with my new profile picture. Lillabit from The Littl' Bits. Oddly, in the Japanese original, she was known as Belfy and her co-protagonist Willibit was called Lilibit. Weird.

    To add to my last profile post, most of my stress comes from looking at my Twitter feed. Everyone's just so negative lately and others act aggressive if you accidentally say something wrong, and i don't go on social media for that. I just want to interact with people I like.

    I am super stressed lately. Hanging out here and posting does help me feel a bit better, and I do have my ways of giving myself comfort. But overall, blah. I hate being negative, but I gotta be honest on occasion.

    Don't deny negative thoughts or emotions, acknowledge them, then drop 'em in a box, lock it, tell 'em they don't control you and then prove them wrong. Your negative voice never says anything helpful, so don't give it too much oxygen.

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
