Well, "Tenet's" a box office failure. How likely is it that the Sonic movie from February is going to end up the highest grossing movie of 2020? (and how strange is that?)

I'm finding I'm having to explain who every guest star is in "Scooby Doo and Guess Who?" to my kids. The only ones they know are Batman and Wonder Woman. George Takai, Whoopi Goldberg, Mark Hamill....they're all like "Who?!?"
With the rumored "Mario 35th Anniversary" stuff out of the way, I would now expect a full blown Nintendo Direct to FINALLY come out in October or November (or maybe early December). Their way of saying "We know 2020 sucked, but look at all the awesome stuff coming out NEXT year!"
I'm a third of the way thru Star Trek: TNG on Netflix and it hit me "Oh yeah, this is the season where Star Trek got GOOD." It's not just nostalgia, these are some good episodes.
Just got "Star Wars Episode 1 Racer" for the Nintendo Switch, and I'm drinking in the Nintendo 64 nostalgia. Played this game a lot 20 years ago.
I'm getting so sick of "Oh, Netflix has that movie! I'll be sure to watch it someday soon" and then 6 months later, when I'm in the mood to watch it "We're sorry, this movie has been removed from Netflix". I want it to always be available, not be burdened with rights expiring (this time it was the 1990 Ninja Turtle movie, which was on Netflix for months!).
With all the new streaming services, there's something to be said for the "Free" streaming services still out there: PlutoTV, Shout Factory TV, Sony Crackle, and good ol' Youtube.
Watch an episode of Scooby-Doo (1969) last night. The question out of my kids mouth: "Why is their laughter in the background?" Having to explain canned laughter in an old cartoon was....difficult.
The Sonic movie somehow went from "Abomination" to "The Must See movie of 2020!", according to the Internet...
Installed Disney+. First thing we got playing: Aladdin (1992)!
This playlist is called "90's Theme Songs" but contains only 32 intros from the 90s. The other 35 are from another decade. (especially Total Drama Island blows my mind)
New trailer for "Death Stranding" just dropped. And it's coming out this year?!?
I wish it was 1992 again...or 1987. Or 1999. Or maybe 2004.
I know it's been several years since I watched Star Trek: Deep Space 9, but...I'm trying to remember the names of the 2 major alien races at the start of the series...and I'm pretty sure they're not the Kardashians and the Bjorkians.
Just noticed: the 1987 "Masters of the Universe" movie is on Youtube legally (and it's free)! A childhood favorite of mine! I saw it in theaters that year - that was the same year I saw the animated "Transformers" movie. Life is good.

Nearly done with watching the last few episodes of the original "Star Trek" series on Netflix. For all the badmouthing the infamous 3rd season got (from 1968-1969) there were a few gems in these last few episodes.
What do you think of the current Marvel shows (including Big Hero 6)? Do you like any?
