  • I think The Last Blade was (and is) very popular in Japan, but SNK went bankrupt before they could make a third game. By the time they got out of their financial problems, they had a ton of other games to work on. The constant presence of LB characters in SNK crossovers indicates they never forgot about it though. Maybe they will resurrect the franchise at one point, like they did with Samurai Shodown.

    Yeah that's her. First tried her out in Capcom vs SNK 2, but then I sought out those Last Blade games and enjoyed them immensely. A shame it never had the popularity of other SNK games though.
