  • Yeah... I'm surprised that the Sharks didn't make it to the Finals last season. I kinda thought after all those years of quick playoff exits, last year was finally going to be the year they won it all.

It's strange, because they seemed to handle Detroit quite easily (whom I thought was the best team they faced, out of the three), and yet, still looked so flat against Chicago. Obviously Chicago is a talented team, but I thought the Sharks were (seemingly) more well-rounded, at least on paper.

Oh well. I guess we'll see how they do this year. They have a new goalie, which could help their chances. I never thought Evgeni Nabokov was all that bad, mind you, but I guess it was clear that they needed to go in a new direction. Now that they've got someone with a Stanley Cup on their resume, it should make things interesting when the playoffs roll around.
Wow... another hockey fan at TZ? Cool.

Living fairly close to the Bay Area, I know a couple of Sharks fans up here in Reno (what few hockey fans we have in this area, anyways). I even went to a game last season, on Jan. 23 (when they beat Buffalo 5-2).

Like I said, I only started watching regularly in the fourth season after I got suckered in by the tail end of the third season finale. Though before that, I've seen episodes from time to time. My favorite of all time being "No Safe Place".

It did seem silly to kill Jim off, and then pull some deus ex machina nonsense with him.

Aw, thanks :) We still had a good time and overall made a good showing for national rankings, so that makes it worth it. It's just strange to think this will be my last year of softball!

It's a good album. Get the Deluxe version if possible because the extra tracks are quite good (I especially love the studio version of "Everything".)

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
