The name sounds like a TGR side program minus TGR.

I'm also expecting the Rai Italia originals, only the ones that deal with regions. So no Cristianità or Paparazzi.

It would have been better if they went back to the Rai Quark idea for replace Rai Scuola. Documentaries. And a nice rival for Focus, incredibily the best channel that Mediaset has?

I guess I’m just alone on everything now but I genuinely don’t see what was so bad about Rai Gulp. It seemed better than people were giving it credit for. I’d certainly take it over hours and hours of Gumball.

Aw well. Whatever, I’m not Italian. I hope it retains some of what worked about Gulp.

No one watches Rai Gulp, that's the thing.
They're so so so so trying to get kids to look at it with V/BE, I think.

Antenna pls? That's really going full circle. Kinda? I guess they reversed the cards, as it is Viasat 2 that has origins from AXN Crime?
(Exciting as if AXN Sci-Fi somehow comes back, I'd finally have a way to see continuities of the 2015 rebrand? AXN Sci-Fi Italy has not many continuities around YT and definitely even less for the 2015 rebrand.)

It's more curious that they're going for AXN Crime and not AXN White...
Unless since it is Hungary and it always operated the AXN subchannels oddly, that's why this happens. (I always wonder if they picked Sony Movie Channel and Sony Max blindly...? The bonus was having one Sony Max that could be reachable for continuities and stuff. (As I think continuities of Sony MAX South Africa are sooooo rare to find around.))

It reminds me of Tele+ Bianco/ Grigio /Nero, and I used to wonder as a child what they were supposed to mean .

It is better to use genres, or vague allusions to content genres, Isn't it?
Plus, it was Spain I think, where either White or Black didn't exist, with only either AXN White or AXN Black being there.
The whole set up is a tad strange

Tell that to Germany, where High View has only AXN Black and AXN White (and blame Sony for Sony AXN :') 99% sure that's why they had to go with that?)
For Spain's lack of AXN Black, it was because they took too much to close Animax and the license for AXN Black went bust? So Sony was like "nvm" and left Spain without AXN Black. Making AXN White AXN Movies here fixed the odd arrangement (that persists in Portugal now).

Personally, I'm ambivalent to both names but the genre ones help more to figure what the channel airs.

Then I think AXN Spin assorbed parts of that. Well, at least on the presentation side, it used bits of the Animax LATAM 2010-2011 look (also used in Portugal, Spain and Germany).
