Did you know that during the entire original run of Disney's Aladdin, the title character was not allowed to show fear? It's true. Why did they establish such a rule, and for what purpose? Find out this week!

A great read.
I don't remember Aladdin that much, nor the TV show.

I could have sworn he showed fear early in the Ends of the Earth scene, looking for Abu in the snow. I rewatched it (Aladdin’s my favorite Disney Renaissance film) and it’s stronger than surprise but not fear either- concern maybe.

I can see some Pretty Woman in Jasmine- mostly in how she uses her shoulders and her attitude but I can see where Katzenberg was coming from. Also, Marty and Jennifer are about equals so that works but (no offense to Claudia Wells or Elizabeth Shue) Jennifer is no Jasmine. She’s way out of Marty and Aladdin’s league- she’s even out of Prince Ali’s league. That Maverick confidence is what carries him through- he never doubted he was the best or that he would get Kelly McGillis and he was right, maybe because of it.

Interestingly, the original trailer made Aladdin look scared while Jafar threatens, "This is not done yet, boy!" by replacing a shot of Prince Ali defiantly running towards Jafar with one of "street rat" Al looking disgusted/surprised at Jasmine kissing Jafar; with apparently no regard for not only this rule, but also the changes in lighting or costumes:

I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol

honestly I like to think of this as some kind of "payback" too
But more exciting will be THIS! A new documentary about CN coming soon next year and looks like they even aknowledge Cramp Twins :ack:

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)
