General Broadcast/Free-To-Air TV thread

Cozi's new line up, Frasier is no longer on the weekdays at all. The Nanny gets an extra hour. (They could have just kept Frasier but alright) Two and Half got one of the three hours of King of Queens and they sawed an hour of Roseanne to keep George Lopez two hours. Columbo loses its Sunday slots. Highway to Heaven and Columbo are now oddities in the line up, I wonder how long they keep them now. And Murdoch Mysteries which airs on a few channels.

Updates from today's hearing for the Nexstar/TEGNA Merger lawsuits.
Republican Attorney Generals from Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Vermont have now joined the lawsuit to block the Nexstar / Tegna merger.

It appears YTA TV is coming to some, if not all Bridge Media TV Stations (their stations almost all air the same programming). I was just Channel Surfing and noticed KVPA-LD 42.7 is now labeled YTA, although it is currently still airing infomercials. So I checked YTA TV's website and sure enough it is listed, so it must be coming soon. For those who don't know, YTA airs a weekday and Saturday morning block of Bobot cartoons including Street Sharks, Dork Hunters, Stone Age, Legend of The Dragon, Roswell, and Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog. Apparently they also have a RoboCop series on Tuesday nights, but not sure which one. Good to see YTA TV expanding to Bridge Media TV Stations.

What MeTV Toons doesn't get, YTA TV gets (because AoSTH falls under a different contract).

I wonder if KTNL, the only OTA station in Sitka, will get the affiliation.

Looks like they cut over the feed to YTA TV now. Right after Bonanza and before the Network ID, was a promo for Legend of the Dragon. Nice to see they actually have promos for the Bobot cartoons.

I’m posting this here because I don’t know where else to but I watched the finale for The Neighborhood last night. It was never my absolute favorite show but I liked it well enough. The finale seemed a tad underwhelming though. I was expecting something like Grover moving in with the Butlers (because they seemed to be playing up Calvin and Tina being lonely now that both of their sons are married and starting families). Or I was expecting to see the new family to buy The Johnson’s’ old house to be Asian, Hispanic, or any race other than Black for a “here we go again” type of ending.

FNX's New York City affliate WNDT-CD continuity from June 6, 2025.

MyNetworkTV's Richmond-Petersburg affliate WRLH-DT2 ad break from three months ago (February 2, 2026).

By the way, @LinusFan303 Your picture links are broken. I can't see them on this thread.

With many disapproving of changes at CBS News, the other major networks should look to seriously counterprogram 60 Minutes with their own first-run programming, with Fox having three hours of new AniDom episodes in non-NFL doubleheader weeks for instance.

Montclair State University will be taking over the NJ PBS stations.

Hope they make a deal to keep NJ spotlight news.

WBGU is next. First time being an individual station, the two cases announced so far were from statewide networks. They still share the cutoff point.
WGTE is taking over WBGU in July WBGU-WGTE

Arkansas PBS will be staying PBS thanks to viewers and I mean that

As glad as I am that Arkansas will still have PBS, that article from the Arkansas Times felt more like an editorial to me; one that happens to include some facts. Either way, I don't think that was a very well written article.

Another Schedule change for GREAT in July as they add House to their lineup. Seems like they been adding quite a few NBC Universal shows lately.

One day someone will slip and confuse the Sony great. in the States with the Narrative GREAT! in UK, in a funny twist of fate.
Outside that, good to see that they're keeping alive the channel!

PBS' Boston affliate WGBH promos from 1993.

Unimás' Miami affliate WAMI-DT continuity from June 22, 2022.

Nexstar making the CW profitable has come at the cost of the types of shows that made the network so great.

I may have a solution for that.

If Amazon were to buy Nexstar, the latter would have the financial resources to once again source most CW shows from CBS and WB, the founders of the network, thus "making it great again".

Glad I got you to watch Stranger Things.

If I may recommend more media for you to check out, here's a starter:

You've mentioned that haven't read the original TMNT comics from Mirage Studios. Well, this video by YouTuber "Soundout12" gives a decent roadmap for where to start:

dmxx116 really likes to wish for people not to return back to so and so because their films didn't do so well. I don't agree with everything he says, though I agree on that Jared Leto shouldn't play Skeletor.
I'm sorry but I disagree with what GRPHX said about the past five films with Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as the choice of Denis Villeneuve as director and Steven Knight as writer in the next film because I really doubt Villeneuve's take will be like the Craig films at all and besides, all of the stuff he mentioned happened before the Craig films such as Licence to Kill.
