Old International Fox Kids/Jetix Channels Memorial Thread

The fact Cartoon Network outside the US only aired season 1 is why i think Netherlands only ever got season 2 of Atomic Betty in Dutch on Jetix, and not in English on Cartoon Network.
You seem to be right, even back in June 2009 they were still airing season 1 only, so they aired the same 26 episodes for years! Madness o_O

And my theory as to why the Dutch dub did not air on Cartoon Network was because they were unable to get the rights to air it, since it aired on a channel that was owned by The Walt Disney Company.
It's a shame, since in my opinion the Dutch dub is miles better than the original English version (which is why i'd like the entire Dutch dub of at least season 1 to resurface).

Here Braceface aired on DC Italy between like 2001 and 2006 (even 2007, if I don't get wrong), uncensored and even airing at the likes of 2pm

RTP 2 aired it dubbed, Canal Panda and Panda Biggs aired it subtitled.

I'm sure that the Biggs one was resubtitled.

This looks unlikely to me. VT4 aired Atomic Betty with the Jetix dub and CN EMEA and CN NL aired Total Drama Island with the Jetix dub. I think it's more likely that they bought the dubs of Atomic Betty and Skunk Fu but never added them to the Dutch audiotrack out of sheer incompetence. Our region was a bit "neglected" by Turner Broadcasting System for a big part of the 2000s.

If they couldn't acquire the dubs, they would have added subtitles like they did with the other third-party shows (The Cramp Twins, Spaced Out, King Arthur's Disasters etc.). Skunk Fu even has Dutch subtitles available (it aired on 2BE in Flanders).

Nobody was looking at the channel. They simply didn't know.

The season 2 double episode "The No-L Nine" has been dubbed into Dutch, so I assume all of season 2 has a Dutch dub.

Here it also aired on Frisbee and Super 3, an Italian regional channel
Below is a promo for their cartoon lineup when you can hear the theme song in the background (said promo is at the 1:13 mark):

Yep, I don't live in the ex-Super 3 coverage area, but I nevertheless think it was broadcast as part of K2 syndication, which was mentioned in the promo.

And Telenorba definitely got Fox Kids and K2 syndication, before the standalone K2 channel

Can confirm it did air on Super 3 as part of the K2 syndication!

Next time, he wouldn't refer to as "it aired on Super 3", because it aired on all stations that had K2 pre-channel.

Yeah, Super 3 had, like Telenorba, the illusion of having less infomercials, because most people who remember this phase of K2 remember that some stations were strapped for cash and aired excessive infomercials. Some even aired the Giorno e Notte scam product, including stations that aired it literally Giorno e Notte, in the true sense of the word.

And since we're dealing with pre-channel K2 here:

"My childhood, I remember that in my childhood they aired this commercial on Antenna Sicilia day and night "giorno e notte" in the real sense of the word, I found it often. I loved the jingle and listened to it while waiting for the day's three cartoons: Mr. Bean, Pokemon Battle Dimension and The Farily OddParents. Now over ten years passed and it feels like it was only yesterday. Aaah what memories"

Late but it actually aired in the afternoon cartoon strand that ran before K2: Super 3 Cartoni Animati Ragazzi
EDIT: Find out that it also aired in the morning as well: Super 3 Cartoni Animati Ragazzi

funny how the theme song is in English yet I swear to god I remember hearing an Italian dubbed version in a multilangauge video

Canal Panda logic, some promos, for lack of an M&E instrumental track, resorted to the English theme songs.

A few seconds of Fox Kids Play with Turkish audio from 2003/2004, during "The Why Why Family":

Looks like it's from episode 18.

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
