I probably think that most of the cast from the French dub of the original series have returned for the French dub of The Lost Tapes, including Maxime Donnay as Rigby.
You're right, even tho some of them do sound a bit different, but i think it may have something to do with age or not having played the character in years. The finale aired in june 2017 in france so 9 years ago.

How come this never happened. Why didn’t the new Total Drama reboot air in the Nordics? A later message from CN here also stated that the plan is to air it in all of europe but that certainly didn’t happen
(Rough translation of the msg: ”Hey thanks for your question. The new total drama series will also come to Sweden, but as it looks right now it won’t be till 2022. Good weekend!”

This is the team that manages the social media accounts and most of the time they don't even know what is happening with the channel.

And I think WBD laid off the entire Scandinavian social media teams for Cartoon Network and Cartoonito in 2024 or 2025. All that's left are the Nordic social media teams for Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Max (and the social media teams for the local Nordic TV channels inherited from Discovery).

Cartoon Network UK, Boomerang UK, and Cartoonito UK June 2026 Highlights:

Are we just not going to question that Paddles hasn’t even reran in five years, now it’s suddenly returning with new episodes
And I can tell Regular Show is taking Teen Titans Go’s spot as CN UK’s golden child, especially looking at the half term schedule, now getting weekend marathons with their best performer, Gumball

"total drama" being written with no capital letters makes this message not trustworthy from the start IMO

CEE may treat Regular Show better now, but never they will dedicate marathons for it. At least not now. They will probably rerun Lost Tapes more than the original in the next months

It's not something we are all "obligated" to know about anyway

Oh well bummer. On another note, does anyone here know how Cartoon Network rights to dubs work? Like for Total Drama World Tour all the nordic dubs are lost and knowing Cartoon Network won’t air it again due to Germany not having dubs they might have erased the nordic dubs do they in that case give the dubs to the distributor (Cake Entertainment) before erasing?

Because I did finally get a response from Cake recently which they said ”If there was a Swedish dub done at some point in the past it will certainly still exist.” And that to me sounds weird that they say ’IF there was’

So, Cake is unaware that a Swedish dub was produced, and most likely there wasn't.

There is a swedish dub. I have seen it but it last aired 2016 on Cartoon Network. However I was literally right now met with the news that the Norwegian dub of World Tour is releasing soon on a streaming service which I guess means all the nordic dubs should be intact. Still perplexed by Cakes response though.

Nah, they’re even removing slots for it. Next month, they’ll leave only two slots on Monday-Friday and one slot on Saturdays and Sundays.

And I was wondering which streaming service are you referring to anyway for the Norwegian dub of World Tour being added?

I’m not sure which one but a YouTube channel that uploads the Nordic dubs told me a Norwegian streaming service is releasing them next week and that they already got all norwegian titles etc already setup. And they always uses Norwegian dubs for kids shows and they already got TDI and TDA.

I think it could be either NRK or TV2 Play.
EDIT: Never mind, it's NRK that is about to carry TDWT and they could potentially bring DramaRama and the 2023 reboot in the future dubbed into Norwegian.

Oh I see it now nice. Hopefully that means the Swedish and Danish TDWT dubs will be broadcasted somewhere in the near future too. Also means CN don’t care about TD rights in the Nordics/europe at all anymore.

Wasn't on Netflix for Nordics as well?
In Romania we had all the seasons, then only the first 3 seasons remained and now only 2 so season 3 în Romanian was saved

Nope. In the nordics Netflix has only ever had the first 2 seasons available. As of right now we only got the first season left. The remaining seasons have all aired on Cartoon Network Nordic (with only season 5 and The Ridonculous Race airing at it’s latest rerun 2018) but never yet made it to any streaming service here.

I wonder if they will restore the CN Rus YouTube channel after Paramount’s acquisition. After all, Nick Rus is still active.
Well, yes, if they do restore the CN Russia YouTube channel after Paramount acquired it, they'll rename it Cartoon Network Cyrillic, just like Nickelodeon. And even then, it's not a given that they'll restore it.

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
