@Markus Again, it was mainly about the advertising region being what they specifically refer to as GAS, which does not directly correlate to the feeds' names

... While in this case it technically does, yet no one is obligated to name it like that and not even I do it

Yes and still does to this day.
And this is wrong. They stopped using them when the feeds merged.

I used to have some content I found on Internet Archive back in the late 2010s, including a promo for The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest (You are entering a restricted area) I found on the early Astro Malaysia website, but my channels are still suspended and I'm too lazy to send e-mails to recover them.

Swiss sub-feed still exists though. I wasn't talking about a bumper. Can you stop saying I'm wrong about every situation please? Don't act like you haven't been wrong.

I think it's better that they have stopped using Belgian and Switzerland flag-looking bumpers, although of course it has everything to do with the CN WE merger.

It appeases a nationalistic minority, but there's no need to have such bumpers, when the French main feed is treated as the "normal feed" and rightly does not have blue-white-red in the Pub bumpers.

They had to stop regardless because every single bumper and promo is the same. I bet they would have still used it if they were local even after the rebrand.

Which is why I have mentioned CN WE as the "culprit".

Yes I noticed. Though I didn't understand that specific word.

Meanwhile, the promo for the Nicole Weekend is now airing on CN CEE and WE.

I seriously hate it when programming blocks are promoted two weeks in advance, as they are unsignifiant compared to premieres of the channel. I mean they aren't of the same importance.

"Nicole Weekend"…? Are they really that out of ideas?

I personally like when they promote blocks a few weeks in advance. It's better for the ratings and promo variety. Sometimes there's been just two promos. I would hate it if they would have promoted marathons a month in advance. New shows I'm fine with being promoted much earlier.

Nicole Weekend is right in place for Mother's Day actually, as it's on May 3rd for some of the feeds' countries, Romania or Portugal for example.

But since they know the date can vary depending on the country they're not branding the block as a "Mother's Day" one.

This also shows us how much they really care about certain stuff, the Ninjago: Dragons Rising batch they will air on CN WE from tomorrow did not receive any "coming soon" promotion, only a "Starts Monday" variant meaning it's only promoted 6 days in advance, compared to the two weeks in advance this Gumball marathon gets.
(Not to mention Ninjago: Dragons Rising gets absolutely ZERO rerun slots and will be removed right after they finish the batch)

Also, kind of unrelated, but a last minute change on CN WE: The Bunnicula slot at 09:05 is now a double bill.

Then it makes a lot of sense :P .

But even if it weren't, CN UK does a lot of these "themed marathons" dedicated to a character alone on weekends, so, nothing too surprising.

Yeah, sadly it is obvious some stuff rate better than new shows or new episodes of some TV shows, including the umpteenth repeat of a staple

Imagine a Mother's Day stunt on the 9th for countries that don't observe it. One of the downsides of losing localized feeds.

The feeds needed to merge. Kids TV viewership goes down. Many feeds were boring when they were local. Now it's better. I can name a few. Nordic, Poland and CEE were especially the ones that had very boring schedules in early 20s.

Better? CEE? I don't think so.
- Gumball spam? Not reduced.
- More "variety"? Only with the new incarnations, acquisitions, AT and RS.
- CN Classics? Not introduced yet.

You only focused on negatives but here's how it's improved:
- Adventure Time and Regular Show reruns which they would have refused without being merged.
- Holidays are treated like a big deal with a lot of shows with variety.
- On-air presentation feels alive again and more updated.

If you think they would have done all of these without the merger, prove me wrong but merging was literally the best thing to happen with CEE even if the regular lineup hasn't improved much.
