Old International Fox Kids/Jetix Channels Memorial Thread

fox kids Australia is a interesting case because if fox kids network got launched in the usa, fox would kept fox kids network usa after the fox family worldwide buyout along with australia and maybe India since that is owned by star tv which fox owned

Jetix Europe as confirmed by their 2008 financial report relied heavily on free-to-air airings.

In some parts, I do agree especially in the case of the UK.

New article on the RegularCapital Audiovisual Wiki: The History of Fox Kids Finland.

The block is a significant anomaly in the global history of the Fox Kids brand. While the trademark was retired globally between 2002 and 2005 (superseded by Jetix, and then by Disney XD), it was revived in Finland nearly a decade later. The article also explains the reasons why Fox Kids was revived in Finland as a block on the Fox Finland channel between 2012-2019.

Fox Kids Israel closedown loop from 2003:

So it turns out that back then it was airing between 05:00-19:00 CET.

"Dungeons and Dragons" up next ident + "The Secret Files of the Spydogs" promo on Fox Kids Greece:

Jetix Poland incomplete continuity from February 2009, including Disney Channel's "Spot the Diff" contest promo (also incomplete as it cuts of after 30s, probably due to playout wrongly reading timings):

I did intentionally write the times in CET, not EET.
I know Israel uses the EET timezone.
:)
I misunderstood, I thought the banner below said 05:00-19:00

An interesting tidbit about Fox Kids' presence in Southeast Asia:
The brand did exist there... as a block on STAR World during at least the early 2000's.

The following excerpt is from The Philippine Daily Inquirer — October 28, 2000.

I thought there was only the block on GMA

I thought there was only the block on GMA
That's what I thought too until I dug deeper into some newspapers.

Still, aside from Power Rangers ending up on a different major kids' channel in SEA (at least in the Philippines), a lot of Fox Kids stuff didn't get much exposure on cable TV here from the looks of it.

In Eastern Europe, the only local Jetix channels were in Poland and the CIS (after Jetix CEE was replaced in 2009).

By the way, judging by recordings of the Disney Stars block on Jetix CEE, the channel was more oriented toward Romania — with various reports and on-screen text.

This was around the time Fox Kids UK tried to expand their demographics to girls by including shows like Braceface and So Little Time (the latter of which aired on Disney Channel Asia in 2002/03 (during the Circles era) for a short while before returning in 2005 (during the Bounce era), which still made more sense), but it didn't last long and only Totally Spies! (which also aired here on Disney Channel Asia) survived.

Braceface eventually returned to the Fox Kids UK schedule in 2004, at 2:30am.

It continued to air even on some Jetix feeds. While in RO, it never aired on TV.
Here in the Philippines, as I just mentioned, So Little Time, very briefly, was on Disney Channel Asia in 2002-3 before returning to the DC Asia schedule in 2005, which was during Bounce (the show aired at 4pm, 9pm and 1am on Disney Channel Asia in 2005 IIRC).

Meanwhile, some other international DC feeds back in the 2000s had Two of a Kind, which also starred Mary-Kate and Ashley.
