    The more I think about how the internet has become the more I wish my merworld came true and as a merman my true friends were my OCs. Me with Darwin and Bloo. My Floridian buddy Gatordragon as a merman with Cody Farley and Banjo the Merbear. A healthier life that while perfect on paper, even has its flaws, but still has its merits.

    This summer I got to see the legit Underdog and Rocky and Bullwinkle for the first time in my life. Underdog? I only saw the movie (yeah, it wasn't good). Rocky and Bullwinkle? It aired on TVI in the early 2000s and I don't remember. I think I saw these shows twenty years too late, because those shows don't have high replay value outside of the States.

    Yeah, they play cricket in Disney Junior's Ariel. I know that the series has Caribbean elements and there is a team there, but outside of the UK, India, Oceania and some of Africa it's unpopular.

    We have a cricket federation in Portugal, but it's limited mainly to people of South Asian descent, where it's a top sport.

    I was inspired by this episode of Ariel to develop sports in Darwinia. The de facto sports of the merworld are cricket (depending on where you are), baseball and gridiron. Soccer is impossible because of the tailfins of the merpeople, but they still watch surface world soccer matches.

    Today is a field day for media: CN is beginning its East and West unification phase in Europe for efficiency, DIRECTV has lost the Disney channels in the USA, including non-O&O ABC stations, and Comedy Central's ratings are going to the roof because the Family Guy Labor Day marathon coupled by the lack of Freeform on DIRECTV will get the job done.
