Hyped to be watching the new Steven Universe LIVE tonight! I never get to do that anymore.
Anyone else notice how uncannily similar Avril Lavigne's "Head Above Water" and OneRepublic's "Let's Hurt Tonight" sound? I smell a conspiracy within the recording industry!

The TV at my workplace was playing Nickelodeon yesterday, and "Ink Lemonade" came on. It was a horrifically enjoyable experience.
Wore yellow today in honor of Stephen Hillenburg.
Monumentally sad news about Stephen Hillenburg. He was a wonderful person who created something truly special that has been enjoyed (and will continue to be enjoyed) by people of all ages. Rest in peace, Mr. Hillenburg.

So much animation news today! The Shrek reboot, Craig McCracken's new show (not to mention the five other animated projects announced for Netflix). It's official: the next few years are beginning to look bright for animation. Finally!
My afternoon with fourth graders:
Fourth grader #1: You like Gravity Falls? Cool!
Fourth grader #2: Yeah, we LOVE Gravity Falls!
Fourth grader #1: Have you seen the new episode yet?
Me: Well guys, there are no more new episodes. The show ended in 2016.
(I hear the silent sound of their minds being blown).
Can't wait until Steven Universe returns.
I don't think I've ever been so anxious for the next Steven Universe episode to air.
I hope that there will come a day where networks can create original content rather than rebooting every previous show of theirs.
Big City Greens was surprisingly funny.
That Steven Universe episode though...so much to absorb! -
