I'm late to the party, but this trailer is already looking better. Now we have an explanation as to why Woody is back, which was desperately needed. I seriously hope this film tops Toy Story 4 because boy was that ending frustrating (and now they're pulling an Uno reverse...AGAIN).
This looks very, very good. And it comes out on my birthday, ironically enough.
However...
I'm hesitant because I've been let down by trailers before. Once the reviews start trickling in, then we'll see if the trailer matches the full movie's energy. Either way, I'm extremely curious to find...
I'm honestly cool with the live action remakes as long as they add something to the original story. If it's a shot for shot remake (*cough*Lion King*cough*), that's too boring. What is the point? But I always appreciate more lore or a different perspective on a specific scene.
Okay, super weird, but recently (within the last few months), I've had dreams about a Monsters Inc. 3 where I would go to the theater to see it. It felt so real, and when I woke up, I was sad that it was merely a dream. But now it's actually happening?!?
If they do go the whole "Boo grows up"...
I don't know if these would be considered the "best," but my favorites are Sleeping Beauty, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, The Emperor's New Groove, and Tangled.
I'm honestly surprised we are not at that point yet, to be honest. I'm not sure if WDAS or Pixar would ever release a PG-13 film under their banner (at least not now), but something from Fox Animation could definitely get a theatrical release.
It would be interesting if Disney ever released a...
I get it's just the teaser but that...was so boring. Like nothing about this makes me want to go see this film in theaters.
Also, no explanation as to why Woody's back yet. That bugs me.
And I guess we'll get a whole other movie of Mr. Potato Head barely speaking (and now Mrs. Potato Head...
I watched the entire trailer and didn't catch a single Disney reference. It may be because I don't speak Japanese and couldn't find English subtitles on YouTube. I guess this is for anime fans who also love Disney...but again, none of these characters come close to resembling any of the villains...
Oh boy, we are FINALLY back.
I didn't hate that trailer! It seems like they are sticking to the original charm and style of the show, which I like. Interesting name change, but I also like that they are trying to distinguish it as its own thing, unlike Phineas and Ferb.
So, so weird this is...
I watched the special Cartoon Network crossover episode the other day and enjoyed it. Of course, it wasn't perfect, but considering how Cartoon Network is basically dead at this point, it was refreshing to see all of these classic characters come back together again. I appreciated seeing the...
I was able to watch the trailer from this Reddit thread. As of right now it's still available:
So that was...about what I expected. It almost felt like a trailer for a PG-13 Powerpuff Girls theatrical movie. I've never been charmed by the whole "children’s show characters are now adults haha...
Well, I'm clearly in the minority opinion yet again because...I thought this film was better than the first. By far, actually.
I'm not sure I have a great reason "why." I just found it more interesting and the plot kept me much more engaged this round. It definitely feels like a "cheaper" film...
So I saw this on Valentine's Day, way after it was released in theaters. Honestly, it wasn't as lackluster as I was anticipating. It was interesting to see how Scar and Mufasa met; I didn't realize that they were adopted brothers. I will say that while there were some tropes
the plot wasn't...
