Cartoonito International News Thread 2.0

For new episodes premieres, yes, it's ok to do that (for show premieres overall they can even do it one whole month in advance, as we saw with the new Gumball and RS sequel series). But NOT when it's for unimportant and passing marathons IMO.
They don't really have much to promote so for the sake of promo variety, I don't mind. Marathons can be important especially for the declining cable TV. Cartoonito isn't the only channel spamming just one show. Half of the channels currently on cable have marathons.

Besides, marathon running has become the norm in the past decade

I don't think family is interested in vehicles out of all things on a family channel. But a lot of networks have lost their true purpose. MTV comes to mind first. I didn't even realize Africa has a DFC.

DFC France and Africa were white elephants

Italy? There was no need for one because Frisbee and K2's Family Room were surrogates

Italy has a lot of channels so there was no need for DFC there anyway. Not a loss for a channel that is now pointless.

discovery family still exists in Africa actually DStv TV Guide - Get the latest DStv South Africa channel schedule (go to channel 136) it airs live action content mostly about vehicles
South Africa, land of TLC and Real Time, explain what is their difference. This exactly the same when in India they had both Sony PIX and Sony Le PLEX.
(Also... We should get back in topic after this.)

Yeah, if Cartoonito and Boomerang coexisted in more countries as of 2026, there would still be some redundant programming. Remember, nobody outside the USA has the same classics mindset as Boomerang USA.

Cartoonito is on autopilot but when a new show airs, they finally decide to add new idents as we've seen for the past few days and make this channel more alive. They have no choice but to manage it sometimes.

And for some shows they even decide to make idents way later on after a while they air, like we've seen with Mr. Bean and (uuuugh) Ben 10

Has to do with smaller team now I guess. They won't be able to make idents much or at least quicker.

I don't want to go offbase but think of what Paramount may soon have with Cartoonito (TLC) and Nick Jr. (Real Time), both are preschool based in a way. But while one has originals like Paw Patrol and Dora the other relies mainly on third party content like Masha And The Bear and Mr. Bean. I mean for the Real Time situation it's just archived unlike Cartoonito so I do wonder how they plan to balance this out but in all honesty I doubt stuff like Batwheels will be Cartoonito exclusive series for much longer as Nick Jr. is the bigger brand here makes sense for Cartoonito to serve as a complimentary channel to Nick Jr.

I don't expect big changes outside the U.S. I think the channels stay as they are in EMEA. Obviously some channels will shut down but I don't think Cartoonito has too low ratings. They got the huge IPs already.

Besides, the merger wasn't approved yet, and we don't know the effects.

I might be the only one who cares but why is Scooby Doo basically unavailable everywhere? Netflix has only Mystery Inc and the two James Gunn movies. Tubi has What's New and Where Are You. Meanwhile HBO Max has basically nothing. I've been itching to watch the classic Scooby Doo direct to video movies lately and they're nowhere to be found outside of purchasing them on sites like YouTube.
Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
