Still no word on Pokémon The Series: Sun & Moon. I don't want a repeat of what happened on March 12, 2011 (the day after the Tōhoku tsunami).

What happened back then? Jog my memory since I can't remember atm

I really shouldn't, but here it goes.

On March 10 of that year, TV Tokyo premiered "A Venipede Stampede" (from Pokémon The Series: Black & White) in it's original Japanese language. After the episode aired, there was a 30-second preview for the first part of the "Rocket-dan VS. Plasma-dan!!" two-parter. Then, the Tōhoku tsunami happened on the morning of March 11, devastating the aforementioned region of Japan. The next day, in the aftermath, TV Tokyo removed the two-parter from their schedule due to buildings being destroyed. They promised us that they'd air the episodes at a later date, due to their importance to the series storyline, but since then, they've broken their promise, and the episodes never aired.

They couldn't just save those episodes for a later date though. They were central for the storyline and were already ready to air, so it wasn't like they could just easily put them off for a few weeks. Not to mention they wanted to avoid imagery of a natural disaster after a part of Japan dealing with a recent one themselves. You have to be delicate during times like that. Being upset over not getting the two parter at this point just feels so moot to me. It's been six years for goodness shake. Yeah, it would have been neat to see what the two parter was about and how that could have affected BW's overall storyline, but we got Episode N. That was clearly the best we were going to get in regards to Team Plasma in the anime. Besides that, the lives of people suffering from that disaster matter a lot more than a two part event from Pokemon. I wouldn't be that upset about it when people actually lost their lives and homes during that tsunami, especially when it has been six years and they've gone through two series since those episodes were supposed to air. Let it go.

I also find worrying about getting another repeat of that situation here in regards to SM both confusing and rather insensitive. The two situations aren't similar or comparable at all. The two part episodes were delayed/cut out due to a natural disaster affecting people who probably didn't want to see a children's show display imagery of buildings being destroyed by a disaster. In this case, we don't know when SM's dub will start. That's it. Being worried about another disaster affecting Pokemon's airing is insensitive and quite frankly insulting. Instead of being worried about people's lives or homes being destroyed, you're worried about getting another situation where they're forced to skip out on important episodes. I love Pokemon immensely and I am eager for the SM series to get its proper premiere, but I'm not going to be worried about a disaster affecting its premiere. I'd be disappointed if that did happen, but people's lives and safety are much more of a priority. So just because we don't know when SM will premiere doesn't mean we're going to get another case like what happened with the BW two parter. The comparison here still makes me so confused. Why would this comparison even come up at all?

It's still really early in February and this schedule is hardly complete, so we could get more information on when the series will premiere later. It's hardly enough time to really press the panic button for the series anyway.

I also doubt there's anything that would cause the premiere to be delayed anyways.

Yeah, that's true. The only kind of delay I could see would be if Disney XD wanted to air a bunch of premieres and wanted to wait until TPCI was able to dub more episodes, but that's not really much of a delay in the same vein as what happened with the BW two parter either.

Where's Season 3 of "Star vs. the Forces of Evil"?
Season 2 hasn't even finished yet. Even when it does later this month, it's still going to be a while before we get season 3. Probably longer than initially expected since they're airing the rest of season 2 this month.

Still no word on when Penn Zero - Part Time Hero is coming back... UGH - just what the hell are they waiting for? *SIGH*

More than anything, I'm looking forward to Tangled and Milo Murphy's Law for this month.

Also, any Zhu Zhu Pets episodes that should come out are an added bonus for me, seeing as that show is pretty damn hilarious and is growing on me, more than I could have ever imagined, too.

Pretty good month so far.

Looking forward to Stuck in the Middle, Tangled, Milo Murphy's Law and Fangbone!.

Also, the only reason Disney XD might be holding back on Penn Zero is that they might air all the episodes in one month (like how they did to Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Kirby Buckets and Milo Murphy's Law). It's pretty stupid if you ask me considering how most of the episodes are ready to air.

I would like for Disney XD to announce the official Season 3 premiere date for "Star vs. the Forces of Evil", pronto!
