The 86th Academy Award presentation is closing fast – less than three months away now – and the list of the films under consideration for a Best Visual Effects award has officially been narrowed to 10. They are, in alphabetical order…

The Academy’s Visual Effects Branch Executive Committee created the top 10 list and now the Academy’s Visual Effects Branch will view 10-minute excerpts of each film on January 9, 2014 and subsequently determine the five finalists for the Oscars on January 16, 2014.
