Later this year, Tribute Games will be releasing TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, a love letter to the great Ninja Turtle beat-em-ups of the 90s. But for those of you who missed out on them, or are simply too young, we have excellent news: it will soon be VERY easy to find out how fun the 90s games are, as all of them will be included in The Cowabunga Collection, from Konami.

Normally when these retro collections are assembled there’s always at least one important game that gets left out. Not this time! They thought of everything. You want the arcade game? You got it. You want the NES port of the arcade game? You got that too. How about the Game Boy games? They’re all there. And if you’re a fan of the 1993 Street Fighter cash-in TMNT Tournament Fighters, but you only have fondness for a SPECIFIC version of it? Even you will be satisfied, because it’s here — all three versions.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time (Super NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)

Whoever put this together even had the sense to realize those who go for these kinds of collections want physical versions of them. TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection will be released both physically and digitally for just $39.99, and it will be on everything: Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, XBox Series Whatever, XBox One, and PC. That is one excellent package, dudes!
