What’s DC’s plans for Titans? Will they get a second season?
For DC Universe, the crux of the service is to bring together old and new content. One of the biggest original series coming to the service is Titans, the first live-action showing of the beloved hero team led by none other than Dick Grayson, aka Robin/Nightwing. The trailer received mixed feelings when it debuted, but at New York Comic Con, the team at DC and Warner Bros revealed that they were already renewing Titans for a second season.
Many are thrilled about this announcement, including Executive Producer Geoff Johns:
“I think that shows the faith that DC Universe has in the show and in this amazing cast here and the property,” said Johns. “DC is so supportive of it.”
According to Johns, the ideas and plot for the second season are already worked out:
“We know Season 2 already,” said Johns. “We know everything. We actually know all the characters for Season 2. We know the story of Season 2. Marv Wolfman will be very happy with Season 2.”
The first season arrives on October 12th, with new episodes arriving every Friday, the second season would presumably arrive in 2019 at some point.
