TELETOON FREE PREVIEW KICKS OFF NATIONWIDE AUGUST 15

6-week-long Multi-platform free preview set to reach over 12 million viewers

(Toronto, ON, August 8, 2012)  TELETOON Canada Inc. is pleased to offer Canadians coast-to-coast free access to TELETOON during the TELETOON Free Preview event from Wednesday, August 15, 2012 to Sunday, September 30, 2012. Throughout this period, subscribers of participating television service providers can tune into TELETOON’s English- or French-language linear, Video On Demand and broadband services (where available) to sample an unbeatable lineup of comedy, action and blockbuster movie programming for kids, families and young adults.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET/PT, TELETOON offers up kid and family-friendly hits like Johnny Test, Detentionaire¸ Adventure Time and Looney Tunes; from 9 p.m. ET/PT onwards, the TELETOON at Night programming block delivers smart and culturally topical comedy shows for young adults including Futurama, Family Guy and Robot Chicken.

TELETOON will launch its fall season beginning September 3, 2012, allowing free preview viewers to tune into an exciting slate of new series, seasons, episodes and movies. Highlights include the newest season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, brand new series including The Amazing World of Gumball and Ultimate Spider-Man as well as the latest original production from TELETOON at Night, Fugget About It.
