It’s almost summer, and if you’re wondering how to make the most of it, two experts in the field are returning to show you how it’s done. Phineas and Ferb are back as of June, ready to drum up a new round of summer vacay chaos. No one can stop it, not even Candace (especially not Candace). They just have to get through the last moments of school first.
Disney Television has released the first four minutes of the upcoming season to YouTube. The highlight is a new musical number, “Summer Is Starting Right Now,” where Phineas and his classmates burst into song and dance while waiting for the last moments of the school year to expire. That’s correct, the revival takes place one year later and P & F are slightly older — yet visually, they haven’t aged a day.

Disney also revealed the list of guest voices that will be heard on the show this season, and it’s quite lengthy: Brendan Hunt, Michael Bublé, Alan Cumming, Lake Bell, John Stamos, Leslie Jones, Anna Faris, Cristo Fernández, Megan Rapinoe, Meghan Trainor, Jonathan Banks, Rhys Darby, and Ruth Negga. Who each of them are playing — whether themselves or someone else — is unknown at this time.
The main cast from the original seasons has also returned: Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn, David Errigo Jr. as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, Caroline Rhea as Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus, Alyson Stoner as Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, and co-creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh as Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Major Francis Monogram respectively.
Since kids get their cartoons from multiple sources these days, Phineas and Ferb will return across them all: the first two episodes will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney XD June 5. That same day, the entire first episode will be posted on the Disney Channel YouTube channel. Then the next day, June 6, the first ten episodes will premiere on Disney+, as well as Disney Channel On Demand. However you get your superhero platypus fix is up to you.
