The second season world premiere of Studio BONES’ sci-fi comedy series Space Dandy has been announced for the evening of Saturday, July 5. Adult Swim’s Toonami block will usher in the second season of Space Dandy with a three episode marathon starting at 11:30 PM. Attack on Titan and Bleach will return to their normal times of 11:30 PM and 12 AM the following Saturday night on July 12.
Space Dandy follows the madcap adventures of a carefree space explorer and his two sidekicks as they travel the galaxy trying to make a living by discovering new alien life, and notably involves a broad array of creative staff from episode to episode. Episodes of the second season of Space Dandy will premiere every Saturday night at its new time of 12:30 AM.
On Thursday, a new official Japanese trailer was released that showcases many new sights and aliens from the upcoming 13-episode second season of Space Dandy. The video clip and screengrabs follow. Toonami has confirmed this schedule for July 5:
