Michael Palin has been selected as the narrator for the revival of the classic British television children’s series “The Clangers”, which originally aired on BBC from 1969-74 – coincidentally, the same years as Palin and pals’ legendary “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” show – follows the adventures of a family of aardvark piglike animals [let’s call them aardpigs] living on a planet or moon somewhere in outer space who communicate by whistling.
“The Clangers” reboot will air on the CBeebies channel in the UK and Sprout channel in the USA in 2015.
