Fans of the Gundam franchise might be familiar with the Gundam Base, a lineup of focused retail outlets in select parts of the world. Earlier this year a global tour was announced to establish short term pop up Gundam Base shops in countries which don’t have one and the United Kingdom is the next stop.
Located in London (specifically Provender Building, Unit 20, 100-101 Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London, NW18AH) the Gundam Base London will be open for seven months from September 5th 2025 to March 31st 2026. The primary focus of the store will be the iconic Gunpla model kits, including a number of Gundam Base exclusives (often difficult to get hold of even within Japan itself). These are planned to be changed across the store’s operational time but promotion promises initially visitors will be able to find the Real Grade RX-78-2 Gundam 2.0 [Gundam Base Colour] alongside the MG Gundam Astray Red Frame and Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver Ka, both in Ecopla Recirculation Colour Neon Pink. There will also be photo opportunities and space allocated for the recently released Gundam Card Game.
We hope to have more news to share closer to the opening of Gundam Base London. Meanwhile, the Gundam Base Tour USA continues, with a few remaining events over the last little bit of Summer:

While there are permanent locations in Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Thailand, Gundam Base also organizes pop-up events in other locations, including in the US and now in London. Beyond retail services, these events act as a gathering place for Gundam fans, featuring displays, workshops, and events that celebrate the franchise. Stay tuned for further announcements on all things “Gundam Base” in the months ahead!
