The best way to summarize this PPV is "Great first 2/3, weak final 1/3".

For most of the PPV, not only did WWE avoid the big fears that some people had going into it (i.e. Carmella ruining the Smackdown Women's Title match, turning Daniel Bryan heel), but a number of elements turned out to be better than people thought they would be (Rousey/Angle vs. Steph/HHH actually being one of the highlights of the night, Undertaker looking good during his squash against Cena). However, the last three matches brought the PPV down.

* Not only did Styles/Nakamura not live up to the expectations that most wrestling fans were hoping for (although it looks like it's going to be the first in a series of matches between them), but there's some concern about how WWE will handle a heel Nakamura (i.e. will we be seeing the version of Nakamura back when he founded CHAOS in NJPW, or will WWE write him like another generic foreign heel).

* While the intro was fun with the Mardi Gras float, the idea of Braun's partner against the Bar be a child in the audience (one who is the son of one of the refs) over a returning star or some local talent/member of the Performance Center posing as an audience member kinda take away part of what made Braun such an insane character.

* Ending the PPV with Lesnar/Reigns AKA a match that easily bring out the snark among the New Orleans audience (with chants of "Boring" and "This is Awful" and the off-camera return of the beach balls).
