I've checked Target stores in Toronto, as they recently expanded to Canada,
but no luck finding this set. I'll either wait for the wider release, or pay the extortion level
prices in the Amazon marketplace. One seller wanted $68 with shipping for a copy!

Pay no extortion prices, under any circumstances- this seller attempting to sell you a copy for $68, it's a scam, don't go for it. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a wider release, which will happen, but no way you should go through that kind of aggravation just to purchase a copy of The World's Greatest Superfriends. Stay away from Amazon- you'll purchase your copy. To tell you the truth, a copy of that DVD, here in the U.S., would cost around $10, so be careful how you go about purchasing a copy, but it certainly appears waiting for a wider release would be the best option for you, at this time. I suggest everyone pick up this disc at Target before it goes wide to all stores, mainly because I have a feeling that they'll repackage the set as a 2 disc deal (4 eps a disc) and double the price, like they did with all the previous 8 episode sets, and what they'll be doing with the next release.
