Some animators are able to get funding to make a pilot, but some don't. Why is that?
I would or wouldn't.Because they just can’t. Would you be able to make a pilot if you wanted to?
Okay. Which ways can do it? Alone or get other animators to do it.As Yoda once said:
"Do or do not do, there is no try".
You want to get a pilot made, you will have to get investors or backers and that will not be easy and no one here can help you do that. You can ask as many questions as you want here, but you will have to do the work to make your dream a reality.

Okay. You need to ask this question. How many directors can direct an segment of an animation anthology film or series? You are asking animation hobbyists for advice about breaking into the industry, no one here is going to have relevant connections to help you.
My advice, stop asking questions here, create a really professional profile on LinkedIn and try to link with people in the animation industry there, that will help more then asking a bunch of hobbyists questions about breaking into the industry.
No, he doesn't need to ask this question; that's something that YOU want to know. And once again, there is no concrete answer to that question. It depends on how many people are collaborating on said project. The Overlord is correct: you need to stop making these pointless threads and start putting in some actual work, or at least some effort. No one here can get your foot in the door, and no one here is going to do your work for you. You have to do it yourself.Okay. You need to ask this question.
