Why did Dora the explorer end there was simply no reason for it kids love it adults love it I love it it was the best educational show ever its nicks biggest money maker so I dont understand why it ended I am glad thou there trying to bring it back next year thou with the movie. However I feel there was no reason to end the show it was still just as popular as it was when I was little when it ended. Yeah I know dora had a spinoff called dora and friends into the city but that dosent mean they have to cancel the original. Another why wont they air the damm remaining episodes left and why did they have to air Dora saves fairytale land straight to dvd instead of on tv you dont treat a proper show like that you give it a grat finale you dont just dump it to dvd. Another thing why did Dora reruns on nick frickin last about only 10 months and yet shows like Team Umizzoomi and Bubble guppies which ended 3 years ago still air on nick why just why its not fair kids wont be able to grow up with her like I did my it ended right around the time my 4 year old brother turned one.Honestly this was nickelodens biggest mistake ever they should be ashamed of theriselves for ruining our childhoods. Another thing the movie is suppose to come out next August and yet I see no reruns of Dora yet on nick in my opinion they should of started airing reruns on nick again last summer. How about instead of airing frickin paw patrol all the time you bring back dora on nick and air the remaining episodes. Honestly this is just insulting to all us kids who grew up with dora. I better start seeing dora reruns on nick by march.Honeslty this was one of nicks best shows and the way it was treated when it ended and the way its treated now is unacceptable.

Nothing lasts forever on Television, that's just the way it is. Well nothing except Pokemon, Simpsons & Spongebob. XD

But yea, television series. good or bad are in the end are always fads to some degree, interests comes and goes and as most humans have increasingly short attention spans and with the vast multitude of new media presented to us now on even just a yearly basis it makes sense kids/people lose interest in older things for new ones. Everyone's mileage varies, some people can watch the same thing forever, some lose interest after a few months/years. That's human nature.

But hey, there;s still plenty of ways to legally watch reruns of most series out there these days.

She makes more money than spongebob she is higher rated on amazon prime than spongebob.

I think you're projecting your own love/obsession of the character/series a bit over facts. No one is saying Dora wasn't a ratings darling for a good decade or so, but many kids by and large have indeed moved on.

But hey there's maybe an (most likely awful) live action film coming down the line so maybe nick will start airing reruns again then, who can say.

But its the highest rated amazon prime kids show and the most popular its probably been like that since it first was available on amazon prime Ive spoken to many kids and parents who are upset dora isint on nick anymore it makes no sense. Its the highest rated show on amazon prime its actually not surprising considering the show was always a hit. They should of started airing reruns onn nick and promoting merchandise last summer.

i think you're making a big deal all out of this. this statement doesn't make any sense, i mean you're actually mentioning why Dora the Explorer end in title of the thread, yet you're simplifying why isn't Dora popular anymore
