What Mario games are you looking forward to? V

Welcome to the continuation of the topics I made four years ago, three years ago, two years ago, & last year. I usually make these in May but since E3 moved to July this year, I decided it would be better to wait just in case more Mario titles were announced at E3.

Galaxy, Brawl and Kart are obvious must-haves. The new Strikers game will probably be a rental and little else. The remainder of the list does little to pique my interest.

i own strikers for the cube and my friends and i put so much time into playing it that getting the online sequel for the wii is a must have. brawl and galaxy are pretty self explanatory at this point. we only just found out about kart, but it'll be a must have unless they completely revamp the gameplay somehow. that reminds me that i still need to pick up double dash... see, i played it and beat it at a friend's house and a few of the good tracks are available to play on mariokart ds, so i just never saw the need to get it

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, and to a lesser extent, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (Wii)

Strikers is not a rental, its the funnest Mario sports title, now we get it with improvements and wii controls and its getting even better reviews.. And Mario Tennis is pretty damn good mario sports game to compete against.

Mario Party DS could be a lot of fun, it has potential, lets leave it at that.

Mario N Sonic at the Olympics looks a lot of fun, its going to get hated for bringing those two finally together for a "olympic" game. But the controls for the wii at least look very fun., its the type of game I've been waiting for since I saw the wiimote. This game is not just another "mini" games compilation. Each event is a full game. Hopefully the DS version is good.

Of course I'm more excited about Galaxy/Brawl but I thought I'd mention the other titles that will get neglected.

I was finally able to get Super Paper Mario for the Wii. It's a good game so far.

Obviously I'm all over the Holy Trinity as well: Brawl, Kart, and Galaxy, in that order.

Strikers I'm planning on renting before I decide whether it's purchase-worthy. I could never get into the first one: it was all right, but I liked it better when it was called Sega Soccer Slam and had ludicrous stereotypes of several ethnic groups instead of just Italians. (-:

Olympic Games is worth a rental for crossover fangasming alone, but I haven't seen, heard or read anything that makes me anticipate it too much gameplay-wise. I've never played a worthwhile Olympic video game thus far, and while I don't rule out Mario and Sonic delivering the first, I'm not holding my breath over it either.

Mario Party DS I could care less about; party games were meant to be played on a shared screen, not with every player staring into his own. Besides, I don't think there's been a Mario Party title worth owning since 5.

I'll take any version of Kart or Tennis over it any day.

I considered the original an improvement over the fun SSS. Though maybe I did get too generous Mario Tennis is still a lot more fun than Strikers. And I wasn't considering Kart a sports game or that would have won.

All but the sports and party ones, which are genres I don't like, and I'm kind of lukewarm on Smash Bros. I got tired of the Gamecube version pretty quick. I guess I'm looking forward to Galaxy, basically, and if there are any Super Mario RPGs coming, those.

But all Nintendo developed Mario platformers are gold, so I'm really looking forward to Galaxy.

Super Mario Galaxy!!!!!!!After seeing a little bit at E3 agian,and a release date,I could not be more siked!!Mario Kart Wii will totally kick *****.As for Brawl............I can't explain how happy I am for this game coming out!!
