What Mario games are you looking forward to? IV

Welcome to the Mario topic I always make once a year in May. You might remember the topic from three years ago, the topic from two years ago, or the topic from last year.

There isn't as many Mario-related games this year but it's still a decent amount.

Note: I wasn't sure if I should include "Mario Party 8" because it wasn't at E3 (but there is the possibility that it could be like Mario Party 6 where it was announced after that year's E3). I suppose if it isn't released this year & it isn't at next year's E3, I will remove it from the polls.

I also wasn't sure if I should include "New Super Mario Bros." considering it's going to be released tomorrow...

New Super Mario Bros will be mine by the end of the week just have hid it from my wife lol. But I'm also looking foward to Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros.

Well...um...wow...I don't think there's ever been more than one Mario game I've looked forward to at a time. I'd say:

1. New Super Mario Bros.- Classic. The 6-year-old in me just can't wait to play a new Mario platformer after so many years.
2. Super Paper Mario- The charm of Paper Mario meets platforming? Doesn't look as good as NSMB, but still pretty cool.
3. Super Mario Galaxy- The first real 3D Mario since Sunshine. Definitely looks fun.
4. Yoshi's Island 2- A sequel after a decade-old game? Can't say I ever expected that. Still, I loved the original.

I wouldn't consider the new Smash Bros. to really be a Mario game as much as a game with Mario in it, so I didn't include it, but I'm looking forward to it, you can count on that.

It looks like I'm the only one on earth not waiting for New Super Mario Bros. because a remake should not include a Mario that destroys everything in it's path, and Bowser JR. I HATE BOWSER JR.

I'm looking foward to Super Paper Mario.

It's not a re-make, dude. It's a sequel.

In any case, given its side-scrolling nature I doubt there will be much dialogue, which means all you'll have to tolerate of Bowser Jr. is a different sprite at the end of a dungeon.

Anyway, I chose:

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Paper Mario
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis (not really a must-have, but yeah)
Yoshi's Island 2

Out of those six, I'll probably end up getting everything except Mario vs. DK.
