Hmm, dust. This isn't my computer. My computer is in the other room. It's an old P233MHZ with a variety of bits I've ripped out, thrown in, broken, forgotten and washed down the sink. It's a mess - but it's MY mess!

Last time I checked it was little gnome thingies. *peeks inside monitor* wait no, sorry, little fairie like mice. The gnomes kept slacking off. :p I'm a net geek but am still working on knowing the ins and outs of computers. I still don't even know the outs! But the computer works, yay, and that's all I need.

I have lots of information, tended to by little elves that maintain the inards of this here computer on a weekly basis. They'd do it more often, but they're unionized, so they see no reason to rush. :)

It seems everyones has miniature humans or human-like creatures living in their computers.

Mine are little eskimo people, with their little fur clothes and tiny eskimo accoutrements. They're kind of fun to watch, but they make an awful racket at night...

Geez, where do I begin?

Motherboard: Intel D845EBG2 w/onboard 10/100 LAN & sound card
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.2 GHz
Memory: 512 MB PC2100 DDR RAM
Video Card: Visiontek Xtasy GeForce 4 Ti 4400 w/128 MB of DDR RAM (I believe)
Sound Card: Soundblaster Audigy Platinum (mmmm remote)
Modem: A crappy 56K modem that won't work under Mandrake!
Hard Drive: 7200 RPM Western Digital 120 GB, dual-booted with Windows XP and Mandrake Linux 9.0 (hell yeah!)
Floppy Drive: A black one (to fit the color scheme of my case)
DVD-ROM: Don't know the maker; it just works and that's all I need (this is also black)
CD-RW: Lite-On 40x12x48x CD-RW drive (quiet as hell I might add; plus this too is black)
Fans: 2 80mm fans (intake and outtake), slot cooler (for video card)
Other: Front-panel Audigy Drive (with a sensor for my remote; this unfortunately is white but I don't care), rounded IDE cables instead of the flat ones (2 blue and 1 red; get these, seriously!), a twistie-tie (to help tie down an annoying fan power cable), a power supply (obviously; couldn't tell ya the wattage though), all sorts of screws (you asked me what was in my computer!), too many wires to count, jumpers, trillions of transistors, my Max Payne CD, dust (with every computer, dust follows)

Smart-assed answers: Little gnomes that act as data transferrers (they have their own union and they occasionally go on strike when I play Unreal Tournament 2003, something about over-working...), an advanced civilization of humanoid bananas that are fighting with the gnomes (something about territory; if the bananas win, they will take over my computer and start sending E-mail to everyone asking for aluminum cans, spitwads and animal crackers; why is this? Don't ask me, I just use the thing)

There, is that enough information for you?

Dang, I'm just too embarrassed to tell what's in my PC. It's my first PC and it's old as Methuselah. I'm planning on buying one of those new Dell computers. They have payment plans, right? Anyway, anyone wanna buy a Pentium Classic with MMX?

CLASSIC PENTIUM WORK STATION with MMX TECHNOLOGY
CPU: Intel Pentium 200mhz Processor
Video Card: I dunno. None, I guess.
Sound Card: I have external speakers. I don't think there's a sound card or anything like that in my little piece of crap.
Modem: 56K V.90 PCI Windows Modem
Memory: A stinky 32MB of RAM
CD-ROM Drive: 24x Max
Floppy Disk Drive: Your standard 3.5 floppy

There. Go ahead and laugh.
