What does and doesn't count as a Nicktoon?

Obviously the vast majority of Nickelodeon cartoons are indisputably Nicktoons. But then there are some where some uncertainty is there. Do any of the DreamWorks cartoons count? How about their version of the Ninja Turtles? And there's plenty of other shows that seem to be in a grey area (Brothers Flub, Butt Ugly Martians, Pelswick, Wayside, Winx Club). So what is the official list of Nicktoons for you guys?

For what it's worth, Wikipedia lists all of the above that I listed besides BUM and Wayside as Nicktoons.

Well if Nick had a hand in their making they are indeed a Nicktoon, unless if they are acquired like Alvinnn and the Chipmunks.

Would the preschool shows count as Nicktoons? They're made by Nickelodeon Animation Studio.

Nicktoons are cartoons made by Nickelodeon for their channel. Pelswick and The 2012 Ninja Turtles shows is a Nicktoon.

The following are not Nicktoons. The DreamWorks shows, Brothers Flub, Butt Ugly Martians, Wayside, Winx Club, Rabbids Invasion, and Alvin.

Shows like TMNT 2012, the DreamWorks toons, and Rabbids are Nicktoons, Nick produced them.

Now Winx Club, Nick made the dub for Seasons 3-5, but it was once dubbed by 4Kids. And now I think a different company dubs Season 7, not sure. Maybe it shouldn't be considered one.

Then there are those shows which Nick had like a 5% involvement in like Pelswick, Wayside, and Yakkity Yak, they have Nick logos at the end and they probably own them still. What are they, does Nick hate them?

In terms of "Nicktoons Network Originals", Making Fiends and Random! Cartoons are Nicktoons (they were supposed to air on Nick but were screwed over hard, the latter is also an Oh Yeah! Cartoons spin-off in case if you didn't know). I think Nick owns Kappa Mikey and Three Delivery, they have Nick logos in the Xbox Store and are still available, but I don't know. Other "originals", Secret Show, Edgar and Ellen, etc., acquisitions.

Shows like Alvin, BUM, Brothers Flub, etc. are just acquisitions.

Oggy and the Cockroaches are not a nicktoon, they're a 3rd party. Same thing for 6teen, Tiny Toons Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, Looney Tunes, Rocket Monkeys, Martin Mystery, My Dad the Rockstar, Garfield and Friends (i think..).

Unsure if preschool counts as Nicktoon but for some shows are produced in other countries (kinda like 3rd party): Max and Ruby (Canadian/American), Franklin and Friends (Canadian), Little Charmers (Canadian/American), Ben and Holly's Kingdom (UK), Tickety Toc (British/South Korean), Fresh Beat Band of Spies (American/Canadian), Dino Dan (Canadian/American), Peppa Pig (UK), Mike the Knight (Canadian/British), Olivia (British/American), Paw Patrol (Canadian), Peter Rabbit (British/American/Irish).

i would think any cartoon (including pre-school) produced by nick would meet the criteria to be considered a nicktoon! i mean the name nicktoons is just a combination of "nick" or "nickelodeon" & "cartoons" meaning ANY cartoon produced by nick is a nicktoon! but what about nick's co-productions? where does that fit into this?
