I think I may have a few more from the production sides of the shows - particularly Buffy and Babylon 5. I must admit, they all sit locked away which is a little sad actually.

Okay, I think this should move to Cafe Toon Zone, since autographs aren't necessarily Entertainment, but can be from politics, cartoons/comics and society in general. It's where we normally have autograph threads as I recall.

Interesting you should mention this, I just got Nancy Cartwright's (Bart Simpson's voice) autograph yesterday. That's all, though.

All that I have is
-Alex Borstein, Mad TV
-Debra Wilson, Mad TV
-Nancy Cartwright

I guess only one...

**** Jones-

In the early 90s he was promoting some framed animation, I had previously bought one, and on the day he was in Chicago, although I didn't buy anything then, he wrote a perosnalized note to me and my ex wife, dated it, and signed it..only later did I really realize what a truly class act, and great comedian he was....(he and the other great Warner directors, (and writers, let's not forget them) may have made more people laugh, than anyonle else, or group of people in the history of the world...(due to the way the toons were distributed, everywhere and anywhere in any language they could find interperters...:)

*sigh* I have none...

haha. Haven't really met anyone famous. So I don't have any autographs at all. :( But sometime in the future I'm hoping I'll meet someone famous.

A Lou Rawls CD, signed by Lou Rawls.
A prop used in Kim Jon Ill's palace from Team America World Police signed by Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

Masaharu Morimoto.

It's taped into my Iron Chef book.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Vivica Fox

Johnny Unitas

Cam Neely

That's it. :(

As far as I'm concerned, I think I still have that ticket stub that was signed by Tommy Dreamer many years ago. That's about it.

My father, on the other hand, has had much better luck at getting autographs. He has some footballs that were signed by members of the New York Yets (this was a few years ago, btw). However, the one autograph in his possesion that trumps all is that of Muhammad Ali. My dad was just a kid when he met Ali on a plane trip (and consequently, got the man's autograph).

well technically

I've got one none of you have.....my own...and I'm sure you all wish you did.

I've got a few wrestlers' autographs from back in the day, but I don't even know where they are. Other than that, I've also got a shirt signed by my favorite band (but they're not that popular yet). They make their own shirts and they screwed the one I bought up, so at the last concert here I had them sign it and they gave me a replacement.

Here I thought I was going to read a cool thread, but now I'm just jealous and depressed.

However, I did meet Peter David (comic book writer) and have him autograph Madrox #1.

I also met Wayman Tisdale and got his autograph.

My brother has one, but not me, unfortunately.

Boy, how the heck do you guys get all these autographs?

^ Between 2001 and now, I've been to three conventions (two Fangoria and one San Diego ComiCon), so that's where the majority of mine came from. But I have gotten some from special appearances or through regular correspondance (sending a letter or emailing through an official website). Until my first convention in 2001, I only had about 2-3 autographs.

Haha!! Sorry about that. :) Bruce Campbell was awesome! I even got a picture with him. Kevin Conroy was cool, too. I met him at his very first public autograph signing. I've kicked myself ever since for never thinking to bring a camera, but it was thrilling to meet him. We talked about SUBZERO, since it was just out, and he told me how bad he thought BATMAN & ROBIN was. lol!!

I don't know if I still have it but I have/had an autographed card from Star Trek's William Campbell (Koloth/Trelane) I got in a DS9 card pack.

Does he still post here? I haven't seen him on the DCAU boards in a while.

Wendy and Richard Pini (ElfQuest: A Gift of Her Own, with a sketch of Cutter!)
Neil Gaiman (Sandman: Endless Nights)
Tiffany Grant (met, a poster of Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Toshihiro Kawamoto (met, Cowboy Bebop artbook)

I think he got banned, actually. Funny story, though. I went to a Wayman Tisdale concert at Mohegan Sun in...uh...October, maybe? I printed out one of his posts (it was about Jennifer Hale doing too many voices, or something along those lines), and after the performance I had him autograph it. He looked at it like he didn't know what it was, but he signed it anyway. I sent him a PM after that, but he never responded to me and was banned. I don't think our Wayman Tisdale was the genuine article.

Hey Michael, did you hear Kevin Conroy doing the Batman voice? What's it like actually seeing it come from him and not on TV?

I heard him do the voice twice. The first was "I am vengeance. I am the night. I, am, Batman!" which he did for the whole crowd at the start of the signing. Then later he did "I am Batman!" for a little girl who was ahead of me in line. It was cool to hear in person, though I was only able to actually see the second one. Funny enough, his regular voice is pretty much the "Bruce Wayne voice" you hear on B:TAS. There was a big line (obviously), but I got to talk to him for about two minutes.
