Veronica Taylor dead? (no)

I've heard from a few friends of mine that Veronica Taylor, the voice of Ash from 1998-2007 has died..... I have not seen anything confirming this, can anybody clear it up?

That sounds like a rumor to me. There hasn't been anything official to confirm something like that. Considering how she's a fairly well known voice actress in the New York area, I think her passing would be mention by official sources by now. I'm quite glad that this isn't true since it would be incredibly tragic.
