Breadwinners now has a tumblr page, which is more proof that it is coming very soon.

I'm starting to warm up to Breadwinners. I'm still hoping it doesn't wind up being what I'm afraid it'll be (basically Regular Show meets Fanboy and Chum Chum). At least it doesn't seem like it'll do that now, but still...

seeing how its live-action, I'm not sure why we should care

Nick seriously deserves an applause for their handling of their current batch of shows. Decisions have been based on more than just ratings. Looks like Nicks live action will be in tact for at least two more years. I wonder how long or short of a leash TTM and THH are on though. Neither have been stellar in overall ratings, but have gains off Nicks other shows last year and earlier this year. Hopefully both can improve on the writing end though.

What I see is most of Nick's live-action shows, unless they're a bomb, such as Bucket and Skinner, will probably earn around 3 seasons and 60 episodes a la Disney Channel. It works since the casts won't become too old for their parts, and the new shows replace the old quickly. The only exceptions are shows that do exceptionally well like Wizards of Waverly Place or iCarly. Which is much better. Thundermans and Haunted Hathaways, while no Good Luck Charlie do very decent on premieres and are shown constantly on the channel, while not oversaturated at the same time, so both will probably last around 3-4 years.

Well, compared to what Nick has done to majority of the live action that has premiered from 2011-2013, it's amazing these two were picked up for second seasons (on top of getting their initial seasons extended). Nick has put away almost a dozen live action shows well before 60 episodes, and some of those shows were better than TTM and THH in ratings.

Here's the the first look at Twang courtesy of NickALive!, which posted the link to one of the leads twitters. Just gotta scroll down. The two leads are the kids in the back row, Cooper and Gatlin Green, they play siblings on the show but are also siblings in real life. Was doing some searching, looks like there might be some music infused into the show, which is about an LA family moving to Tennessee to run a diner.

The show has a True Jackson producer behind it. And I gotta say, there's potential here. The leads look like children stars and the cast itself looks fresh. Apparently, the pilot is finished and is basically up to nick if they pick it up or not. Also thankful that there's no oddity about the family involving aliens, ghosts or super powers. This might relieve the show of being too corny for Tweens. Hopefully the dialogue is less typical than THH and TTM.

EDIT: Nick would be crazy not to pick up this series. These two kids are TALENTED. I know music shows on Nick Kinna went downhill, but these two could really take off...

Btw, there's also an article about House of Anubis possibly getting picked up for a season 4 based on a tweet. I'm all for HoA as long as it remains on TN.

Wow, the two leads are VERY talented. Noah Urrea, (the boy in the front) sings good too. I have a feeling this show will get picked up. Nick can turn the young talent on this show into huge superstars. Girls will love Coopers handsome looks, and they'll definitely like how Gatlin is relatable, and isn't one of the glam Hollywood kids.

Plus no aliens, super heroes, or ghosts? Count me in!

Supposedly the premise is the kids are spoiled, but I hope it's not taken too far. The Cooper kids on YouTube seem extreme down to earth, humble and relatable. Which I think is a huge plus. And they are actually from Tennessee, shooting the pilot in California. Ironic huh?

And yeah, I don't know Nicks view on music themed shows, but if the leads sing and play as good as they do, Nick might as well showcase it. The Cooper kids could make any of the reality music competition shows without a doubt.

I think this show is picked up and announced and the Upfront. Unless the pilot is horrendous, it would be a major waste of talent and potential superstardom. Hoping the show with the Victorious alum behind it gets picked up as well. Glad the sitcoms are gonna be a bit more relatable and less out there. Who knows, maybe this time next year, Nicks live action will be as strong as it's animation.

I like how all of the actresses in that picture have short hair. Obviously that's not the big takeaway from this potential series, but a lot (not all of them) of female actresses on Nick's recent live-action shows have longer hair, which I don't think is awful, nor do I think any of them should've changed their hairstyles. Still, I think more short hairstyles provide a helpful way to make the Nick live-action female cast a bit more diverse. I doubt ratings would soar because of this, and I wouldn't be surprised if kids prefer longer hairstyles. Still, if we're talking about making things being more relatable, I think diversity with the shorter hair would be a way to help with that. (In a subtle way- I don't mean that kids would directly think, "Wow, they have short hair! I've gotta watch this show!")

I hope this show doesn't have a Disney sitcom feel/atmosphere.

I think the best way for Nick to approach this is to not try and make these guys the next big Nick singing stars, and instead let whatever music's in this show do its thing. (And make sure the show does not feel like a stereotypical Disney sitcom.)

Just saw a promo saying Breadwinners is coming in February!
