I'm sure it has to do with the recent strike. This seems that they're ready to cancel every live-action show to make room for new ones.

Live actions pipeline are very dry lately due to after strikes, or Quiet on Set about former child actors treated unfairly as well behind scene dramas for Dan Schneider and others like Brian Peck.

Twang pilot was ordered back in 2013. But in 2014, Twang is NOT being greenlighted to a series.

Dunes Club or Club Dunes was greenlighted pilot back in fall 2014

Back in Oct 2015, Nickelodoen is NOT ordering Future Shock to a SERIES! On Dunes Club, still no further news about afterwards which is also scrapped.

In fall 2013, they announced Smart Alec as a pilot, NO further news about the show being greenlighted to a series, meaning it's been scrapped.

What happened with Erin & Aaron greenlighted to series last year was surprise, and trademarked, but few years ago was greenlighted a pilot.


Out of these shows you listed, they're NOT going to greenlighted to new series, since that was made almost a decade ago.

According to zap2it, Bossy Bear returns to NickJr channel starting Monday, only for network premieres, after Nickelodeon airs new episodes for it

According to tvInsider, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) is premiering on Nickelodeon on Fri Apr 26 at 7pm, the same day Knuckles six episodes series will stream on Paramount Plus.
