Whelp This is it. We finally got a taste of air after so long under? Want another? Time to tell them!

While the feedback and emails are great and all, the only thing that can REALLY bring everything out in full force is an old fashioned letter writing campane.

Everybody grab your pen and ink and send out a letter to each of the following adresses. If enough mail gets sent in it becomes that much harder to ignore or manipulate.

This could get really interesting, especially since DeMarco is still in the loop at Williams Street. In fact, I would love to see him take over the action block and acquisitions as part of getting Toonami [as] on the air. He knows all the industry reps, he knows what cases need to be made to get them to part with content, and he has a good sense of what actually gets viewers. If that also got Akins back in too, fantastic. Main point is, the leadership talent you need isn't absent.

Ah, stay tuned to me makes me think this might take a bit. I mean, unless they are ready to put some man hours into blur effects and time edits, Tenchi would have to drop at a minimum as I don't think they could get the rights to air their old tapes, and besides, it would be silly run the old tapes. Launch Tenchi with OVA 3 or GXP, or better still, the Japanese remasters once FUNi gets their mitts on them, and just do blur/time edits (or make FUNi do them, because while they'd balk a bit, they wouldn't pass up the chance to get people hot for those remasters either, especially if they lose many of the households their linear channel is in.)

Edit: Running original DBZ while Nicktoons has Kai would seem like a weird choice too, and I have to think that ideally, they'd try to swing fresh tapes for Outlaw Star and Blue Sub #6, and like Tenchi, I think Outlaw Star had a high-def remaster as well. I mean, if they could wait 6 months to hammer out some deals on that older content, and just cycle in their existing adult action content + something new that wouldn't be better served with a wait, that would be a really wonderful way of bringing those classic shows back.

Yes having Jason take over acquisitions and the action block or at least having him help with that would already put ASA on a better foot than it has been.
