As soon as the Triceratons leave Earth they have to come right back. Oh, the irony.

This was probably the best episode of the new series so far. I was entertained by just about every minute of it. A very fun episode. The turtles were in rare form; they play well off the Fugitoid. The Fugitoid himself reminds me of C-3PO, except these writers did a much better job than the writers of Episode 2.

Darn. The Boston Affiliate preempted it for the Red Sox victory parade. Does anyone know if WFXT Fox 25 Boston will reschedule it?

I can't say that I liked this episode... not enough Triceraton action for me. But next week's episode should be a bit better. It looks like we'll find out who those men in black really are (and where they stand).

Ah well... I guess the Triceratons can't wreak havoc in every episode (though it'd be nice if they did).

Lol at the irony. Showing up on Earth the second the Triceratons stopped looking for him. I wanted the Turtles to just give the Fugitoid, he wants it after all.

"Uh...that was a bit extreme..." Definite highlight of the episode.

I can't decide whether this episode was intentionally paced to feel long and drawn out or not. There wasn't much in the way of plot, but the "keep away" game was reasonably entertaining, with lots of references to previous episodes (the Foot chopper from "Return to New York" being stashed with the Professor from "Garbageman", and the hoverboard built from Utrom technology)

Were the "pawns" aiming for the Fugitoid or the Triceratons? Before the commercial they had the Fugitoid legs in their sight, then after the break they were aiming for the Triceratons. Hopefully it'll be explained next week (and next week's preview had a nice X-File's eeriness)

I really enjoyed this episode, even if all they did was try to hide from the Triceratons throughout most of it.

Nice to see the helicopter back. Also looks like Casey finally got his kiss.

But now that the Triceratons KNOW Fugitoid is on Earth, they're obviously not going to leave again till they find him. Very interesting.

kind of a boring episode. it felt pretty long and drawn out and Fugitoid was pretty annoying. i was kind of wishing the Turtles would eventually just give him to the Triceratons since that's what he wanted. next week's looks interesting though by taking a break from the space stuff and diving into the conspiracy stuff.

No comments on the kiss? I know it wasn't the best-animated kiss ever, but dammit, I thought it would at least merit some response. Personally, I'm so glad that they didn't drag the official coupling till the finale, that I'll take anything.

The episode itself may not have much in the way of plot, but the quick pace and all of the references to past episodes (seeing the Foot Chopper--which I had forgotten about and never expected to see again--was a highlight of the episode for me) more than made up for it.

Does anybody else feel that Mikey ignoring Splinter will be a catalyst for something else--say, Splinter's departure from the lair? I'm just speculating here--no spoilers.

I think this may have just become my favorite TMNT-verse ever. Now, if only we had Future Turtles and Verminator-X...

This would be more appropiate for last episode's thread, but I'll throw it in here anyway. Somebody in another board suggested that "Space Invaders" could be seen as a parallel for Iraq, what with a vast army invading a planet/country in search of weapons that may or may not have been there, but now aren't. Discuss.

I commented on it. It was a good thing it was just a simple kiss and they didn't make a big deal out of it, like other shows would do. It happened at the beginning of the episode, they have a short kiss and that's it. No "Dramatic kissing scene" like other shows try to shove down our throats.

I'm happy it went that way.

Ya. Hope this helps. Some parts of it may be out of order, though.

Teaser: Prof. Honeycutt leaves a transmission to the Utroms detailing why he had to go back to Earth (which he has been watching): he would give himself up to the Triceratons in order to get them to stop destroying the planet (he'd erased all memories of the Teleportal and Transmat from his memory banks).

Theme. As the news announce the end of the Triceratons' invasion, Casey and April sit in her Volkwagen Bus, in the middle of a traffic jam. They kiss.

Meanwhile, in Zandrammon's cruiser, the turtles are celebrating their victory when they receive a call from Honeycutt. He informs them that he's at the site of the former TCRI building. The turtles arrive there and ask him why he's back on Earth. He informs them of his intentions and that he's already contacted Zandrammon. He also tells them about the mindwipe, the fact that he probably won't survive, and that he has a little surprise in store for when the dissasemble him. The turtles will have none of it: they will not let their friend die. A Triceraton squad shows up in flying platforms and attacks.

The turtles escape to the sewers, taking the protesting Fugitoid with them. When asked not to relay their location, he informs them that he's not; the Triceratons are tracking them by other means. Don then suggests that the Triceratons might be tracking the Fugitoids positronic signals, which Don told them to look out for (see last ep).

After a brief tussle with the following Triceratons (which include Commander Mozar), the Turtles continue their escape, with the reluctant Fugitoid intent on getting captured. In desperation, Donny rips the Fugitoids head of, in order to assure compliance. It then occurs to him to mask the positronic signal in order to buy them some time.

The following Triceratons are tracking the signal when suddenly, it splits into four.

The turtles have separated, each carrying part of the Fugitoid with them (each part transmitting it's own signal. Michelangelo returns to the lair, and picks up his hoverboard (from Modern Love)--Splinter demands an explanation, but Mikey doesn't offer one.

Eastman and Laird. Raph goes to the warehouse and picks up his motorcycle. He's dressed in the jacket he wore in Return of the Justice Force.

Leo exits the sewers and heads to the rooftops.

City dump. Don and the professor's head (who is forced to agree with Don's plan when he realizes that the turtles are now in peril) meet The Professor (from Garbageman). Don asks for the package he'd left in The Professor's care, which he still has: the Foot helicopter the turtles had stolen during Return to New York.

Donatello is found by Triceratons who give chase. While Don tries to avoid them, he asks the Fugitoid to create a program in order to fully mask the signal.

Mikey is still in the sewers, being chased by Triceratons. He passes through a pipe which delays the Triceratons (the flying platform crashes against the too-small pipe).

Raph rides down the streets, with Triceratons following. On a rooftop above, a sniper (referred to as "Pawn") aims at the Fugitoids legs. He asks Bishop for permission to fire into his headset. Commercial.

When we return, we find Pawn now aiming at the Triceratons. He's given permission to fire. He fires, and the laser blast hits the triceraton square on the chest. Pawn announces the operation a success, and confirms that the Fugitoid is on Earth.

Meanwhile, on a truck inside a parking lot Bishop talks to his unknown parter. He informs them that they have begun taking measures in order to stop the Triceratons, and that they both (Bishop and unseen partner) will soon get what they want. He walks up to a computer screen, where the seal of the US is shown.

Leonardo fights Triceratons in a rooftop.

In the helicopter, Honeycutt finishes the program, so Don decides to head to a place where they can broadcast it.

Raph continues his escape, and he's joined by Mikey. The chase continues.

Don and the Fugitoid arrive at the roof of a building. There, they stream the Honeycutt's program and broadcast it, hiding his signal. Don calls his brothers and tell them to meet at the rendevous point.

Central park. The turtles and the now-repaired Fugitoid commiserate about how they still need a plan. They are suddenly surrounded by truck and helicopters, and are ordered to surrender. To be continued.

great chase scenes and action

nice continuity w/ the Foot 'Copter (Return to NY pt 3), Mikey's hoverboard (abandoned Utrom tech), and the Homeless Professor's catchphrase ("I have a theory about that.")

btw: here's hoping Donny can keep the Triceraton Cruiser and mess around w/ their tech.

Good episode. This show knows the word 'continuity' well.

LOL, Leo trying to be the robot and seeing the turtles faces when they learn the robot is on Earth and also Donny ripping the head off the robot.
