Okay, this definitely lines up with news/rumors of other Marvel films. Loki can easily be used as the big bad on this side of the MCU.

As for those films here's a list to take your guesses at:

S.HI.E.L.D.
Dr. Strange
Ant Man
The Inhumans
Runaways

These of course do not include sequels to already in production films like IM3, Thor, Cap, and Avengers. Even though I think Mandarin should get the honor, they may be using Loki as the all encompassing villian like Dr. Doom is in the comics. Mandarin fits better because of his political, technological, and sorcery knowledge.

I hope not.

Loki should be limited to only the Thor and Avengers movies.

Yeah, but often times, Loki was manipulating some big things behind the scenes. He could easily be the cause of a villain or villains and only be referred to or seen in silhouette in a film.

Yeah, that's cool in an Avengers movie, but if I want to watch a Nick Fury of SHIELD movie, I want a high-tech action espionage thriller with no sign of any omnipotent supernatural beings.

And that goes for each of the other potential Marvel films that feature heroes that aren't directly connected to Loki. Loki as a villain does not have to be the thread that binds the Marvel Movie Universe.

I'm just blindly speculating, it can be done if done correctly. I imagine they may be ultimately setting up an infinity gauntlet story arc.

the cosmic cube may be a lynchpin mcguffin too.

Thor opened in Costa Rica last night and I was there to watch it in its full 3D glory. One of the best movies of the year so far. Flawless and full of surprises, cameos, etc. 100% recommended, go watch it people!!!

Here some early reveiws from Thor:

Thanks for the links! Man, this sounds every bit as epic as I hoped it would be. I'm glad to see it appears to have done with the God of Thunder what 2008's Iron Man did with Tony Stark. Now, all we need is for Captain America to be great, and Marvel will be 4 for 4 in giving the leads of The Avengers quality solo movies. :)

It opened in Brazil yesterday

Yesterday Thor opened here in Brazil but I didn't come to watch it yet. The reviews around here have been great. It was said the intrigues in Asgard realm are comparable with Shakespeare's ones due to Kenneth Brannagh direction.

The movie did feel a little short. I wanted more of everything. It was a little rushed like the first X-men movie.

Not a bad movie at all. I enjoyed it a great deal.

Remember to stay after the credits ;) .

To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s
