Did anyone have TechTV back in the day? Does anyone remember that network's most popular show, The Screen Savers, which was later bought by G4 and rebranded into Attack of the Show?

Well, old host Leo Laporte has bought the rights back and is reviving the show! Check out his announcement! It begins on May 2.

I first heard about this earlier this week, when a poster mentioned it in a comment on The Twin Factor. It's not the return of Tech TV (not that I was honestly expecting that, the internet pretty much killed the tech channel) but it'll do.

One advantage to the show being on the internet is now I don't have to be home at a particular time to see it; I can just pull it up and watch it whenever.

I rarely missed an episode of The Screen Savers and many of the fine shows on TechTv.

Yeah, I have a bitter memory of that.

It's been a long time and technology has changed so much but so long as Leo keeps putting his foot in his mouth it should be fun to watch.

It starts today at 3PM PST.

I don't know if the Internet could have done a better job of presenting high tech in such a easy and presentable format. Until today, I have not seen a show or internet channel do what The Screen Savers did back in the day.

To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
