The Loud House News and Discussion Thread 3

A Loud House artist is leaving Nickelodeon. Doesn't look good for the show.

Livin' the Dream Boat full episode is available on youtube Loud House.

Update: as of apr 2026, it's now been privated.

I knew their breakup wouldn't last. God has made them for each other.

Every adolescent or adult Loud kid (Lincoln included) is now involved in a ship that is either canon or is a highly popular non-canon ship. Lynn Jr. was the last holdout.

The Lori and Bobby break up thing was really only 3 episodes. Seems kind of like a waste if you put it that way. I think it would have been interesting if they had stuck with the idea of them being broken up , but they also probably don't want to take out the longest non married couple in the show. I think Living the Dream Boat was a good episode it showed why Lori likes Bobby and what kind of person she wants to be with and that Bobby wasn't really ready to break away. The only weak episode of the three was "Man of My Schemes" because it just kind of was.

On some of the non break up episodes. Spy Dreams was dry dreams. It wasn't that interesting as a plot. It was at least like a post season 5 Lincoln thing where they had Myrtle be right that another grandma was a villain or something, but still kind of boring.

My Phony Valentine was kind of fun and even with the idea of Rusty getting with a girl that looks just like him, and them even doing a Romeo and Juliet style plot and kind of mentioning it, was still alright. Pretty fun episode.

Student of the Jeer was fine, though it goes with the idea of Stella being a "goodie two shoes" which ok. Stella is like the only one of Lincoln's friends who really doesn't have a characterization and character growth (if you add Kara then there's something else with her) so her kind of having the thing that Clyde kind of has and again mentioned in the episode. Had some funny moments too. This was the first episode from Stella's POV.

I think My Phony Valentine and Student of the Jeer are also experimenting on having less of the friends around at a time.

Bean Dreams was good. I like the idea of Lori deciding maybe she wants to go into school teaching or something instead of being a golfer since they seemed to get rid of the silly golf college thing, (It really could have just been a normal college).

I didn't expect a new full episode to be Uploaded immediately

It seems like Nickelodeon hasn’t been slowing down with Friday’s new Loud House episodes when compared to last year.

I'm guessing there were so many Loud House episodes to air for the last year but they haven't aired much; it only aired July 2025 for Europe Road Trip episodes, Aug 2025 for for Summer Camp episodes, and Dec 2025 aired holiday special including movie special aired late last Nov 2025.

Sick as a dad did air today but writer’s retreat did not. I guess we’re not gonna see it after all.

My worry is that Nickelodeon USA has banned Writer's Retreat, because they found something in the episode they didn’t like.

What was something inappropriate that Nickelodeon didn't like for episode "Writer's Retreat"?

I guessing writers retreat has themes of fanfics

Horror themes, which is a ridiculous reason?

Maybe they'll show it on a later date.
Still, I’m worried Nick USA won’t bother about airing Writer's Retreat and just proceed with beginning/continuing Season 10 proper, even if the show returns this summer.

According to Kasey Moore, who often reports about what comes to Netflix, they will apparently have exclusive rights to The Loud House Movie until 2033.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
