Check out an all-new episode of Teen Titans Go! airing tonight at 6pm (ET) on Cartoon Network.

Teen Titans Go!
"Knowledge" airs Thursday, August 21st, 2014 on Cartoon Network
Starfire is tired of not fitting in with the other Titans, and asks Raven to help her to learn more about human culture. Raven casts a spell to give Starfire all of human knowledge, which turns Starfire into the total bummer.

Comments?

Other than the song (two eps in a row at least I think), awful episode. Bad remix of "Parasite" and "Brain Power", imo.

I really liked the School-House Rock parody by Raven.
Me, too. It was cool I was old enough to understand the parody but then I got sad because I did. ;P

I actually enjoyed this one, mainly because I like Starfire and Raven more than BB and Cyborg. :P And I can sympathize with Starfire, to a point.

You know though I don't know if I would consider this a good episode I actually did sort of appreciate the moral it was going for. The fact that the male Titans weren't annoyed at Starfire for not being that knowledgeable about certain things and being perfectly fine just being ignorant. And it was Raven's lack of impatience in wanting to teach Starfire that was the problem, for falsely or rushed information is never a good thing, and that actually spending the time to teach would of been the correct way to go. And that it was Star's health that made Raven see that this was a major problem with the whole "her head will explode if she doesn't go back to normal". So that was fine and honestly made way more sense then most of this other show's messages and wasn't say ruined or junked with a swerve line at the end. Yeah the whole "bummer" line did come up but that didn't ruin the moment between the two female titans for me. And honestly the whole bummer equation (especially Robin admitting people don't know how to feel about him) was the funniest bit of the episode as the rest of it was... kind of dry. I don't know I do appreciate that this show is trying to be goofier and even more crazy and just go there but... a lot of the jokes thrown here didn't work for me. The Zs making everyone fall asleep, the School House Rock inspired song number or even the Fantastic Voyage inside Starfire's head (I will grant that this is better then the TT epsiode that spoofed Fantastic Voyage "Crash" aka one of the worst episodes of the original series) were just jokes that honestly just missed for me and really shows that you can't just throw random ideas to an episode and expect it to work. Or at least you know these random ideas. Oh well I will give credit for the bummer joke, the moral and not ending with just something random and actually having some structure but eh... still not one of the better episodes at all.

I've beyond comparing this show to the original Teen Titans. It has a different art/animation style, tone, and characterizations. I get that it wants to reach a new audience. Unfortunately, now I'm just comparing the show to Regular Show and this generation's other comedies. This episode has the same hook as "More Smarter" its just not as compelling, because they ran the whole "smart vs buzzkill" dichotomy into ground. Raven says that cramming the information in Starfire's head was the real problem, but we never really see how one can enjoy being smart. That said, there were some pretty good jokes here. The Yawn virus and containment capsules were funny, as was the Schoolhouse Rock song.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
