Would you Wudai?
They're butt-kicking monks, out to rid the world of evil. With the likes of the villainous Chase Young, the slithery witch Wuya, and the self-professed 'boy genius' Jack Spicer about, the heroes of Xiaolin Showdown must always be on guard!

Last Week: #48 "Chucky Choo" Talkback
This Week: #49 "Wu Got the Power"
Premieres Saturday, February 18 at 9 am
Summary: No summary available.
With the Shen Gong Wu 'out of the picture,' the question is will the team try to fight with them or without them? Catch this week's episode and find out!

Man, I wish I could comment further, but I only saw the first half of the episodes. I will say during when Omi was using all four elementals, he made some pretty artistic sculpture-ish things.

Wow, this episode felt way too rushed. Jack was pretty much just a zombie 3/4 of the show, and the absence of Wuya didn't help either. The plot formed and concluded in a split second. All of a sudden, Omi and Hannibal Bean were fighting each other as clouds somehow (though the action sequences were awesome) and they both disappear at the end of the fight. When they come back, Bean calls it a draw and flies away. Everything was so fast-paced which is quite unusual for this show.

Though, I got to admit the elemental powers were pretty freakin' cool, and the music was real powerful during the action scenes. It was all very well drawn and flowed together flawlessly. No showdown, but that's ok, I guess. And lesser used Shen-Gong-Wu, like the Lunar Locket and Zing Zom-Bone, finally made a second appearance which is a definite plus.

I guess next week Bean will get his revenge on Omi (since it's appropriately titled "Hannibal's Revenge") for interrupting his world-domination-of-the-week plan. I want to see Chase Young return, too. Where'd he go?

** 1/2.

It was cool that Omi was using all of the elemental powers. But I thought Roy's plan was to make Omi go mad with power and Roy would take over his body. But I really really want to see some major badness(or goodness) coming from Jack Spicer.

I find it funny that Omi is still subsceptible to power trips. And sorta annoying too. You'd think he'd get some character development in that respect. On the other hand, it's hard for him not to change with those powerful elemental weapons at his disposal.

By episode's end, Omi and Bean are suddenly fighting like Gods, trading pure energy blows in the sky with each other. I loved the music and the action sequences here... some of the series' best work in both departments. I almost thought this would end in a cliffhanger, that we wouldn't know if Omi or Bean were still alive after they exploded and we'd be wondering 'til next week.

Meanwhile, I see they didn't adapt continuity from last episode, as Jack wasn't surprised in the least to see Shen Gong Wu still in existance.

7.5 out of 10 for "Wu Got the Power."

Those doing the pyramid burger on YouTube are doing it wrong. Let it cook until it's well done because I've seen people doing it and trying it before spitting it after realising that it's raw.
I have another theory as for why Johnny Bravo is neglected by CN nowadays. Putting aside the basic concept, it's the retools that made the show chaotic.
