"Scooby-Doo - Mystery, Inc." News & Discussion Thread

I found it interesting that the episode title had popped up again.

Looks like there's more than a kernal of truth to those spoilers!

Interesting that it's Ben McKenzie doing the voice! I hadn't seen him since the OC went off the air.

May 3rd is the same day The Looney Tunes Show premieres on, so it makes complete sense.

Not to mention May sweeps... and the earlier mentions that the show would return in "late spring". Let's keep hoping they stick to this date (if not earlier). Plus, the show debuted and continued to run first run eps on Tuesday nights. This date could be legit.

If they show the rest of the season one week at a time uninterupted that would mean that the finale might be run by July 26th and leave enough time to run season two in September or October. Of course that's just an educated guess!

I've been thinking about that because the reason Shagg broke up with Velma was because he's not ready to have 'a girlfriend,' at least that's what he told her, so for him to be attracted to another girl really would tick her off. But in my opinion, I think Shaggy was just saying that to spare Velma's feelings. I mean, she was bossing him around and forcing him to chose between her and his friendship with Scooby. I think Shaggy might be more interested in a girl who accepts him for who he is.

Well from what I understand,
the girl, "Mi-Lee" will be using Shaggy to try to steal something valuable. She flatters him to no end and naturally, he eats it up! Makes me wonder if Velma (or Scooby) will have to pick up the pieces of his ego once Mi-Lee (Miley, get it!) crushes it!

Think about it. May 3rd is the same day The Looney Tunes Show premieres on, so it makes complete sense.

Yeah. That's what I was thinking from the beginning. So it seems like we at least have a good sign there. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Yeah, probably they didn't want Looney Tunes to premier alone so they add Scooby which its a good idea, also since May seems that other networks will show new episodes too.

I hope it happens. *crosses fingers*:anime:

Good to hear that I'm not the only one with doubts. But it sounds real promising with the May sweeps and everything. I'll have to go with moo on the 'fingers crossed.' Though for me it may be a longer wait anyway since I don't get CN and I'll have to wait until it's posted online. I probably could use iTunes, but like I said before, I don't want to spend money on my card on something that I could watch on You Tube for free. Plus we've all so episode 14 online so it should be a week after until we get to the eps that we haven't seen. Just thought I'd put in my two cents there.

I'll be home by the new episode so tv for me. :D
Unless I forget to watch/record it. XD

Omg guys, I just discovered pics from episode 15 the Wild Brood.
I'm pretty sure they are real, apparently the rumors about the new eps airing in Canada could be right.

Interesting they show the stills of Velma with Scooby because,
During the ep, the villian puts Scooby's life in danger and tells Velma she'll have to choose between having to stop him or to save Scooby. Naturally she chooses to save Scooby, telling him that she couldn't let him get hurt despite their strained relationship since the break up. Scooby tells her he never had a doubt she'd rescue him. Sounds like their friendship is getting back on track now.

Interesting! I'm liking the look of this episode.

EDIT, I'm watching this now on a certain video site that shall not be named, so it's defenitely real.

Edit: I found it too. :)

I saw this episode and...

Yeah I thought it was great, and hilarious, but WTH are the creators thinking with showing Daphne in her undergarments. Again I will ask as I did earlier: Is this show meant for adults or kids? I want to love this show, but it is a little too risque at times for my taste, epsecially for a kids cartoon, or am I just being to soccer mom like?

D.

i guess my sources panned out

Yeah! Who would have thought?:p

My thoughts:
I loved this episode. It was funny and the mystery was good. Applause for Velma for not letting her heartbreak get in the way of good judgment. I thought the Fred and Daphne moments were cute. And interesting to know that Daphne sleeps in her underwear...I mean wth? Lol at the Sheriff getting lost in the closet and Fred's "She digs me!!". Also dancing swordfish=best clue ever.

I just found something very, very interesting. I'm looking on TV Guide's Canada site to see if there's any nmore episodes of SDMI airing. And there is one new episode, and guess what it's called? Which Witch is Which. As you probably know, "Which Witch Is Which" is a original Scooby episode. This is supposed to air Saturday. http://affiliate.zap2it.com/tv/scooby-doo-mystery-incorporated/EP01294813

They also list "Escape from Mystery Island" as airing on 4/9.

Sorry, they're all fakes!

The upcoming episodes of SDMI are as follows:

Episode 15:
"The Wild Brood"

Episode 16:
"Where Walks Aphrodite"

Episode 17:
"Escape From Mystery Manor"

Episode 18:
"The Dragon's Secret"

I just saw The Wild Brood and thought it was hilarious!
Great call backs to past episodes and a little development with Fred & Daphne's romance. Not to mention Scooby & Velma getting their own friendship back on track. I loved how Crystal Cove had its own "Chinatown" (which happened to be a single building!) and how things worked out with the train scenes! Lots of action to keep one on the edge of ones' seat! Also loved the butt whupping the Brood members gave the local toughs during the opening teaser! It was some obvious fan service having Daphne shown in a rather risque nightie but for heaven's sake the girl is only 16! Plus the gang and Sheriff Stone in her room before she even wakes up? What's up with that? You'd think her parents would knock first to make sure she was "decent" for visitors! Interesting that Shaggy wound up fainting when he learned Velma was hanging out with the Broods! ("Man down! Again!!"). Is that a little BSOD for him? Maybe! Also, why is Mayor Jones so anxious for Fred to marry and have children? He's just 16 and there's plenty of time for that sort of thing! Why the rush? Also, I found it odd that the Broods didn't think of "Swordfish" earlier since they already knew about that project and Mr. E.'s clue couldn't have been more clear. Velma good with a wrench? Color me suprised!! Then again she was a member of the Robotics Club so I'll let that one go.

Overall, a fun ep and I can't wait for more!!

Well think about it this way, Mayor Jones wants to make sure that the family business (that is being mayor) is continued after Fred. Little does he know that Fred is learning....slowly. I found it funny, that Velma was the only one to realize its a swordfish at first. XD "I get it! Its swordnose!" You could hear Mr.E facepalm from miles away. XD

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
