You know this is the last thing we fans of the great classics and the people that made them need. Its bad enough that everything we believe in is being parodied and thrown out of the window in all of these awful new shows, that none of the younger generations dosen't understand the stuff we grew up with and that the newer animators don't care about the cartoons that established the industry, is that we have yet again lost another legendary icon that help shape the foundation of the classics that he or she established.
Now I know that death is something that sometimes can't be prevented, its just that like many other lovers of good animation, I am truly sadened of this unwanted travesty in our lives. I just can't stomach the fact that the newer animators is going to use this travesty to use in there show to hype there twisted sense of humor. Why do they do this? Legendary icons like Chuck Jones and Osama Tesuka never used a tragic event to make there work funny, and neither did Bill or Joe. I'm sorry that I sound like I don't care what happened its just that I have so much respect for the things that I grew up with. You have to understand that I was raised to have respect for people that improved our lives and made us feel better. I never grew up with animation like "South Park" , or "Family Guy", and to this day I still like things like The Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Classic Disney Films, The Ghostbusters (Both the Filmation and Columbia versions), AND THE SIMPSONS.
Still, I can't beleve that a good man like Joseph Barbera is gone. I hope that his work and William Hanna's work will still be considered one of the greatest works in animation history.
May there art live on FOREVER!
