Regular Show half-hour special?

Last week CN kept airing promos for a block of action-themed reruns of Adventure Time & Regular Show.

The promos said it was "getting you ready for an all-new, half-hour Regular Show special, coming in October"

Silly me, I missed the "coming in Ocrtober" part and thought it would air this week.

So, does anybody know what is going to happen in this half-hour special of Regular Show? Is it another Halloween special, or something different? A Regular Show/Adventure Time crossover?

I remember when I was a kid, ALL cartoons were a half-hour. (Sometimes they had two 11-minute acts, but they always lasted a half-hour) Now CN is trying to sell the idea that a half-hour episode is a big deal.

Sorry if this is old news, but according to this article, there will be 3 half-hour specials. A new Halloween special, a Christmas special, and a third half-hour special.

It's very old news. The first one is the special half-hour premiere, which I speculate will premiere October 15, 2012. I think they should take a break on the 22nd and return on the 29th with the second Halloween special. They are both half-hour so it kind of seems overwhelming airing two half-hour episodes right after each other and some viewers might start to think that the show is going half-hour.

EDIT: I do suppose they could air a regular 15-minute episode on the 22nd. Hmm, that would make sense, but I'm not sure if they'd be okay with that. Also, the creators of AT and RS have both said they don't want to do a crossover unless they were forced to do (which seems unlikely) because "they're too different" to be honest I think they are not different besides the world they live in.
