When it comes to Zack Snyder, you probably come into one of three categories; you love him, you hate him, or you're sick of hearing from people who love or hate him.
Well it might not be a great year for those behind door number three, as not only is the second part of his Sci-Fi epic Rebel Moon being added to Netflix and at some point this year we'll be getting 3 hour Director's Cuts of both parts.
I lean somewhat positive on Snyder, but I'm not sure I'll bother with any more Rebel Moon. I watched the first and after a promising start it was pretty much a slog. Lots of somewhat intriguing elements were raised and then dropped. I recall liking the Anthony Hopkins robot character, and was interested in how he might develop...and then he just disappears. Perhaps they'll expound on that in either the director's cut or the sequel(s?), but neither is how films should work in my opinion.
