Quick and simple DK Jungle Beat Question

Been thinking about buying it, but i was wondering if you can use a standard GC controller as well as the bongos. im hoping so. that just might make or break my choice of buying it.

IIRC you can use the regular GC controler

i was also looking at getting it. you can either get a $30 copy without the bongos or a $50 copy and bongos come with the game
